After Henry - Series 1 - Complete DVD

As you can tell from his name he is completely different to his brother Horrid Henry. Peter is very helpful towards everyone, Polite and kind. This however this just to tease and bully him every waking minute; and because of this, Perfect Peter is often a victim of Henry's jokes. Peter is best known for his yellow, shaggy, curly hair. He is a tell-tale and believes anything and everything Henry tells him THE DVD. This has to be the 1st DVD I have brought the kids that you get a free gift with. Advantages: Brilliant insight into the Tudor History
Disadvantages: Quite explicit in places

...For all those people interested in the Tudor History, this is a must. Cast:- King Henry VIII - Jonathan Rhys Meyers Cardinal thomas Wolsey - Sam Neill Sir Thomas More - Jeffrey Notham 1st Duke Suffolk - Henry Cavill Anne Boelyn - Natalie Dormer Queen Katherine of Aragon - Maria Doyle Kennedy And a few more.... Once you can get past the fact that King Henry is young, handsome and nothing like you see in any portraits, this drama is a pleasure to watch. It has a certificate rating of 15, which I think is appropriate as in places, it is certainly quite raunchy and involves acts that could be difficult to explain to a younger audience. This is a shame though, as I feel that, should these bits be removed, it would be an excellent educational tool regarding this part of history. Advantages: Brutal!!
Disadvantages: The plots a bit here and there

...Henry is basically played as a loner, who seems completely emotionless. Random, meaningless killings, which somehow make the film somewhat entertaining. A real insight into serial killers, and disturbingly realistic. Great performances all round. not for the faint hearted, i found some of the killing scenes disturbing, graphic, and i found myself looking the other way at times. Basic plot, Henry joins a man and his sister, who seem normal. (as far as normal goes). after a seemingly normal beginning to a freindship, things become quickly out of hand, shown throughout by Henrys short fuse, aggresive temper, and generally all round violent character.
