...This is an excellent movie; surreal existensial and brilliantly acted. The plot is simple but brilliant, basically a pupeteer finds ajob in a filing firm's office on th 7 1/2 th floor ( in between floor 7 an floor 8 ).
On this strange floor he finds a door whcih is a portal into the mind of JohnMalkovich. Camron diaz is his wife and they take turn to play with John's life. eventually they mangae to take contol of Johnmalkovich's body and trun him into a master pupetter. There are sinsiter forces at work which mean the film cannot end happily !...

Advantages: Great filf, real funny Disadvantages: WEIRD
...This is got to get the best award for the weirdest, most original movie, yet some how brilliantly funny. For those who dont know, cusack playes a dweeb puppetier who recently aquires a job on the 7.5 floor (yes 7.5) of a building. He then discovers a portal into the mind of malkovich, and from there his adentures start. See this unmissalble movie which everyone whos anyone is talking about. If it was anyone else , but malkovich this would be a basket case! Enter the mind of malkovich and go see this marvel today....

Advantages: Original idea Disadvantages: a it too long
...BeingJohnMalkovich is an excellent film. The most original film of the year and probably the most original film for a long time. An out of work puppeteer finds a portal in to the head of JohnMalkovich. When in his head you can see the world through his eyes for 15 minutes. The concept sounds very strange and it may put you off seeing it but it is an excellent film. All the cast put in superb performances, espicially Malkovich. This film deserved to win more Oscars than it did and definately more thsn American Beauty....
