for an idea to emulate ITV's success with The Avengers. Adam Adamant Lives! saw ever-so British star Gerald Harper take the lead role and Ridley Scott, acclaimed director of Hannibal, Gladiator and Alien, direct several episodes. Only two series were made but three decades later a certain Austin Powers exquisitely parodied the series...Adam Adamant is a dandy Edwardian adventurer who wakes up in the swinging Sixties, having been frozen in a block of ice by his nemesis, The Face. Bemused by the loose morals of a permissive society, Adam, aided by swinging chick Georgina Jones, dashes about in his Mini Cooper, thwarting evil in the form of sinister ladies' charities, posh satanists and cigar-chomping female crimelords!

Advantages: good quality Disadvantages: not find it yet
...Hi!
My experience with Adams started about 4 years ago, when my son has been born.
In that time, I was trying every kids shop to find the best one. After buying clothes from different shops, I got to conclusion that the Adams is the best and suits my need.
The cloths are very good quality- I never find it any little holes or marks on them.
***
My shop situated is in city centre and is very easy to get to it. When I walk in to the shop, I can feel very warm atmosphere there. The cloths been sorted in the age groups- baby, toddler boys 1-4 years, toddler girls 1-4 years, boys 4-10 and girls 4-10,-schoolwear and footwear...
They are presented nicely and sorted starting from the smallest size going up.
Every time I have been there I always, can find size what I am looking for?
***
This shop is brilliant for Scholl wear...

Advantages: all the best bits on one disc, tons of extras Disadvantages: n/a
...I bought the Adam and Joe DVD as a present for my boyfriend knowing he'd enjoyed watching it back in the day (the show ran from 1996 to 2001). Although I enjoyed watching the series I wasn't expecting too much from the DVD as there were a few sketches that were always a bit hit or miss.
However the DVD is a condensed version of the four series' of "The Adam and Joe show" that were originally shown on channel 4. It contains all the "best bits" and is to summarize in one word- HILARIOUS,
The show took the form of short sketches with links filmed in Adam and Joe's "bedsit" in London. 'Adam and Joe' are Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish, two friends who met at school and have been working together on comedy sketches and projects ever since.
As I mentioned the show is sketch based, and the DVD is a compilation of all...

Advantages: it is British film Disadvantages: it is an art film seen on the film festivals
..."Young Adam" by David McKenzie
"Young Adam" premiered at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival before screening at the Toronto and New York Film Festivals later in the year. Film won award for a Best Film on Edinburgh International Film Festival 2003. Indeed!
Joe [Ewan McGregor] is an amoral young man, that makes his way into the lives of a little lost souls, in 50s, at not very romantic Glasgow, in the adaptation of British Beat Generation writer Alexander Trocchi’s first novel. It’s a "romantic" murder mystery set on a barge in the canals of Scotland. Set in a steamy Glasgow of the early 50s, the film focuses on the existential crisis of Joe, a cruel young drifter, who finds work on a barge [even for being writer by its real occupation], owned by the down-to-earth and enigmatic Ella (Tilda Swington). Soon enough, he starts...
