Matric dvd box set review
Advantages: loads of bonus features
Disadvantages: none
This is the king of all box sets, its amazing. It has all of the matrix films plus loads of special features. Its not really for anyone who hasnt seen any matrix films yet but if your a fan its totally worth buying. Its great value for money as aswell as getting all the films you get 35 hours of special features. Overall its one of the best box sets I have ever come across and would recomend it to anyone. The Matrix Reloaded: Dissapointing
Advantages: Good music, Some interesting new characters
Disadvantages: Plot too complex, Emotional detachment from characters, Too much vague philosophy
As a big fan of the original I was greatly looking forward to this, however it didn't live up to the hype. My main issue was the story, I could practically hear the plot straining to be deep and profound but this falls flat on its face. The plot, which is entangled in vague philosophy ("Not how, but why"), is unnecessarily confusing and I eventually found myself wondering, does this plot make sense or is it simply that I just don't care? The Matrix Revolutions review
Advantages: Jaw dropping visuals
Disadvantages: Can be rather boring
The Matrix Revolutions is the final part in The Matrix saga. In it, Zion is preparing for the oncoming onslaught of the machines in which they stand no chance of survival. Meanwhile, Neo is held captive by the Merovingian at a train station so Trinity & Morpheus set out on a journey to rescue him so he can save everyone.

Advantages: Amazing fight sequences

The second part of the Wachowski brothers' Amazing trilogy blasted onto our screens in 2003 with more funding and ground breaking film making. Although the story doesn't directly follow on from Neo's little speech that ended the origial this can be forgiven because of the direction the y now take the film in. Neo has discovered more of his extraordinary powers as 'The One' and the Zion community are worrying about a machine attack. But , whilst still ...
...the films main focus seems to be on Neo's path as he discovers what being the one really means. Lots of money was spent on the now famous bullet time technique which is what the films have become famous for. There is lots of this but as well, there is a lot more real time fighting between people.
