'Cohaagen, give them some air!'

Advantages: Groundbreaking FX, great direction and acting
Disadvantages: Over the top violence

Review of Total Recall (DVD)

Bluray is a crime to Robocop

Advantages: Listening to Robocops theme sounds better and so does his quotes
Disadvantages: Not the definitive edition as there is still some grain

...is the bluray version of Robocop 1 and even though I love the movie, this version is not considered as being "TRUE" bluray as it is not really much different in quality then any of the ones on normal dvd and the fact that the picture is also grainy at times, but that is probably due to the movie being over 20 years old. The good news about this version is that the sound is great and takes advantage of a surround sound. If you want the best version ...
...the 20th anniversary edition of the film which comes in a steel bookcase. However I would still recommend this version as it is probably going to be the best they can get to high def with these older films but you never know maybe one day they will re-release this is proper HD and do this movie justice. Part man, Part machine, 3 DVD's

Advantages: 2 great movies, good action, quite funny in parts
Disadvantages: poor third movie, quite expensive
