Advantages: Great adventure Disadvantages: Unbelievability factor, but this is kind of the point
The 2004 film National Treasure took about $350 million at the box office worldwide. This prompted producer Jerry Bruckheimer to give the go ahead for a sequel to be made, and last year saw the release of National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets. The film took just over a month to outgross the 2004 film, and is every bit as entertaining an action film as the first, if a little far fetched.
The Plot
Not long after the end of the Civil War in America, ... ...cracks, then look no further. National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets is a rollercoaster action adventure film with fast paced location changing scenery. The camera work and special effects are brilliantly done, and the actors are all incorporated into this as well.
In terms of settings, director Jon Turteltaub has gone to town, filming in Buckingham Palace, the Library of Congress, Mount Rushmore and the centre of Paris. Throw in some car chases ...
Advantages: Fast paced and lots of action Disadvantages: None
...film! This time it was the Incredible Hulk as even though this is not one of the newer releases I wanted to see it on the big screen before it stops showing!
The film I was hoping would be action packed and I wasn't disappointed by it. The CGI was well done as is the acting - even my wife enjoyed it and she wasn't really that keen on seeing it in the first place!
The Plot - The story follows Bruce Banner as we start off at the beginning seeing ... ...and the scientists. He has been living in Brazil and trying to keep control over his powers. However the government are constantly looking for him and due to a mistake on his part they manage to trace him. He then has to run from them which leads him back to his old flame Betty.
He now also has to contend with Emil Blonsky, who out of such a desire to become stronger and to capture Bruce will try anything.....

Advantages: None. Birem is Ok I suppose Disadvantages: Bad script, effects, score, acting... eveything.
...comes as little surprise that Journey To The Centre Of The Earth has had yet another remake. Unfortunately, as is usually the case it adds little to the original and takes alot away. Cue corny one liners, cue irritating bolshy kid, cue overblown special effects to try to mask the fact that the actors can't act. This film is not very good. Where the original was charming and entertaining, had a great star in James Mason and a brilliant score by Bernard ... ...the lead is wooden and bland and the musical score is a bore so generic for the genre you can almost sing the next orchestral burst before it's upon you. What are the positives? Special effects? Not really I'm afraid. Because the film is caught between making a sci-fi film and a 3D gimmick the effects look fairly bad throughout. It comes across like TV CGI where you would expect more from a Hollywood budget. Anything else? Anita Briem is OK as the ...
Advantages: Good story and acting performances, gorgeous picture quality, plethora of special features Disadvantages: None
I'm going to admit from the off that I despised the first two Mummy films. I can't put my finger on why; possibly the setting, storyline or poor acting? Whatever the reason, the films bored me to tears and were a sure way to send me to sleep. With this being said, it won't come as a surprise to you when I state I wasn't looking forward to the third and final instalment in The Mummy series. So did I fall asleep during yet another Mummy movie or did ... ...changes have been made since the last instalment of the series, with the director Rob Cohen coming in to replace Stephen Sommers being the most obvious. The film is set in China, a country that Cohen happens to have a keen interest in fro recent studies of the country's history and therefore this helped add passion and little touches to the movie. Brendan Fraser returns as the no-nonsense Mummy hunter, but has apparently changed wives due to the ...
Advantages: An excellent Screenplay, brilliant performances and a very enjoyable movie Disadvantages: Other than the sad death of Heath Ledger none
Having established himself as the protector of Gotham City, Batman sets out with the help of the District Attorney Harvey Dent and Police Lieutenant Jim Gordon to bring down the largest Criminal organisations. Their plans take a bit of a diversion though when a new mastermind takes control of Gotham's crime syndicate. The Joker demands that Batman unmask himself and sets off on a killing spree to try and ensure it happens. The real question for the ... ...been over a year since the follow up to Batman Begins was released but yesterday rather than head to the cinema we decided to finally watch it. Having heard nothing but good things about it and loving the previous film it seemed almost unbelievable that we hadn't watched it yet. Where Batman Begins had in my opinion taken the Batman films to a new level I was hoping that The Dark Knight would carry on this progression and I certainly wasn't disappointed. ...
