This film lasts a good while (106 mins) with some very good action scenes and stunts, particularly car stunts, throughout. A particularly good scene is where they track down the gold in one of several trucks. They then somehow get the truck underground and steal the gold for themselves taking it away in minis! ...cover the plots as the Italian Job is a legend but suffice to say it involves stealing large amounts of gold using minis as the getaway cars. Noel Cowards Bridger is replaced by Donald Sutherland and Charlie Croker is now Mark Wahlberg and not Michael Caine. ...is the newer slick hollywood version rather than the british 70's budget film there are somethings that the new version cannot trump. The original mini chase is still the best and how can you replace Benny Hill with an MIT nerd! The difference between US and UK humour is obvious.
