Review of The Italian Job (DVD)

Best of British???

Advantages: good acting and story
Disadvantages: Very violent at times

I have seen this film many years ago now but never really followed what was going on as it did not appeal to me. For some reason hubby decided that he wanted to re watch it so out came the DVD and I was expecting another night of boredom but I can say that after sitting and watching it properly I did actually manage to follow the story and did quite enjoy it. . The Bigger the hit, the faster the rush, the Sweeter the revenge!

Advantages: Great action packed film, Great actors, Good storyline
Disadvantages: You may not be able to get into the story-line!

Have A Good Life. Whats Left Of It

Advantages: Good fast paced action movie, decent martial arts scenes
Disadvantages: Could have done with another big name

Statham resumes his role from the first movie as a Transporter, a man paid to deliver things from one place to another. ...This second instalment of the Transporter series sees Statham team up for the second time with Louis Leterrier. His direction seems to have come on a little from the first movie but with that in mind it still looks pretty good. The fight sequences are very well choreographed and look really well put together. If you haven't seen this film, then where have you been? What else have you been watching that could possibly keep you away from this film? A film that was sent first class from the streets of London. Actors who seemed destined to play the characters. As seen by Vinnie Jones whos character is based on the notorious Mr David Courtney. Once you've seen this film once is not enough. You will find yourself quoting lines and exploring the special features. ...
