Crank it Up!
Advantages: It's full of breathless action and has incredible energy. Disadvantages: It's got bargain bin production values.
After the electrifying events of “Crank”, Chev Chelios could really do with some rest and relaxation. Instead he has to chase all over LA in search of something very dear to him that a Chinese mob boss has stolen; his heart. Things are further complicated by the fact that Chev’s ticker has been replaced by a battery-powered substitute that needs regular jolts of electricity to keep it pumping. Battered, bloodied and bruised he has to fight his way ... ...of keeping his adrenaline surging.
2006’s “Crank” was a ludicrous and stupidly entertaining modern-day take on the exploitation film and if you enjoyed it, then you’ll love the sequel! Writer-directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor return with the same anarchic, breathless directorial style-over-substance approach that worked so well in the first movie. It starts exactly where the last film left off, with our hero hitting the ground after a thousand-foot ...

A Shocking sequel!!
Advantages: good tempo Disadvantages: Same as the first one
...has a cult following and Crank generated a decent DVD return, so the sequel inevitable, Hollywood magic and a solid bounce allowing his rather unexpected survival. The Crank angle was that Statham's character, the obtusely named Chez Chelios, presumably half Mexican to get the Hispanics renting this under false pretences, had been injected with a synthetic drug by gangsters that will kill him if his heart rate drops below a certain speed, meaning ... ...never a good idea. Because Crank was quite original that way and so kept you interested you expect the same again here and do indeed get it. The shot of electricity thing works well and is very silly, some truly surreal scenes interpolated to catch you off guard, but the nondescript urban L A suburbs remind you of film one and it quickly feels samey. The last film worked because some of the scenes are just plain wrong, some dam right perverted, Statham ...

This Time, The Rules Are The Same. Except one
Advantages: The return of Statham, another well made and written Transporter movie Disadvantages: If you hated the first two you'll hate this
...the third film in the transporter series and sees Jason Statham return to a role that it would seem he was born to play. I'd thoroughly enjoyed both of the previous Transporter films but part of me did worry that a third would be a step too far. Thankfully this worry was misplaced and although it's not quite as good as the first two films it still stays true to the ideas of those earlier films and keeps you entertained with a mixture of action and ... ...formula devised in the previous Transporter films with loud explosions and fast paced action that make this series so good. The special effects all work particularly well from the explosions to some very clever driving scenes. Fans of the series will also be pleased to know that the fight scene's follow the normal route as well with the bad guys queuing up politely to fight Martin. Of course the return of the writing team behind the first 2 movies ...

Statham High, Sell 'Im Cheap
Advantages: Some good fight scenes and stunt driving. Disadvantages: It's very similar to the other films in the series.
Former Special Forces mercenary and retired “transporter” Frank Martin lives and works by his own set of rules. But he is forced to play by someone else’s when he is strong-armed into one last job. This time he has to transport Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukrainian minister, from Marseille to Odessa on the Black Sea. To ensure he does the job, he has been fitted with an electronic bracelet that will explode if he strays too far from his ... ...with a criminal mastermind and his army of thugs and a very reluctant passenger…
Olivier Megaton has the perfect surname for an action director, but that’s the only innovative thing about him. The film looks like every other non-Hollywood actioner; shot on grainy film in anonymous locations that waste the continent-hopping narrative. Megaton tries to make the movie look gritty by bleaching out colours and using a blue filter for the Ukrainian segments ...

jason is back
Advantages: great plot Disadvantages: fair fetched car moves
This is a great film that I caught on telly on Saturday night and I cannot believe that I have not seen it before, I think I caught it at the right time as the third is to be released soon and if it is as good as the second I am in for a real treat.
Jason Statham plays Frank Martin, a chauffer who takes being precise to the extreme, but as you find if you get in his way there will be serious consequences. As a former Special Forces agent he now ... ...Billings played Matthew Modine the dad and his wife Audrey played by Amber Valletta, but on his watch their young son Jack played by Hunter Clary is kidnapped on a trip to the Doctors by a drug lord, Gianni played by Alessandro Gassman he has a mysterious virus and anti-virus as part of a plot in the story, I will not go into too much detail. Frank makes a promise to Jack and will stop at nothing to find the criminals who are holding him for ransom ...
