Indies Back and looking Great

A very brief synopsis of the story begins with Indie and Mac taken against their will to 'Area 51', where Clues lead them onwards ending up in the jungle. Dr Jones and his magical skull

Disadvantages: Weak story

Indy at his best
Advantages: Harrison Ford and Sean Connery
Disadvantages: none
Fans of the Indiana Jones films will love the third in the series. The film is called Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and was released in 1989.
This film is set in 1938 and sees the archaeologist, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), searching for his missing father, Professor Henry Jones (Sean Connery), who has gone missing while on his life long search for the Holy Grail. Indiana uses a Grail diary sent to him by his father from Italy, which has ...
...his father. Indiana receives assistance from wealthy collector, Walter Donavan (Julian Glover) who was funding Professor Jones search. Indiana and Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott) begin adventure as they are drawn into the search for the Grail along with Indiana’s father, as they race against the Nazis who want the Grail for their own evil purposes.
This is an excellent film with a fantastic story that has some wonderful scenes and plenty of action ...

Jones and the Ark
Advantages: great action and adventure

As I said, it is a great movie with some fantastic action and adventure, one of Fords better movies indeed.

T REXIFFIC!
Advantages: Some of the best CGI of the 1990's
Disadvantages: some unbelievable twists in the storyline
I went to see Jurrasic Park after reading the book first of all. I had high expectations and in terms of book to film versions I think the film does a very good job. This was one of the first films I saw in digital surround sound. It actually felt as though the velociraptors were chasing me from the back of the cinema! There are some very dodgy bits in the film...the hand in the wiring...the little girl who just happens to know what a unit system ...
...basically is a computer that runs the entire park...not bad for a small child!), The 'don't move...it won't hurt you if you don't move' yeah right!), the explanation of chaos theory... but on the whole this is a visual feast of special effects, great dinosaurs and amazing special effects. There is great use of CGI and considering it was a good few years ago now, the effects have stood the test of time. Of course the best thing in the film and star ...
