...to the great series that Rocky was. It is not the best Rocky film out of the 6 that were made but it is definately up there with them. The boxing preview thing is a bit far fetched but it still works well with the plot. I think sly stalone is a bit past him time now as well. ...But for some reason the Rocky saga sparked endless banter and cheesy quotes while partaking in beer, bitter and wine. There's something about these films which capture the imagination and stir the adrenaline in your body while watching the fighting set pieces and training montages. ...lasted decades. Also in Rocky Balboa we see the series coming full circle and Rocky is once again the Ultimate Underdog. Ok he's 60 but i thought the film played on the age thing brilliantly, they didn't try to hide it, but, instead highlighted it as far-fetched and an unlikely story.
