Lock Stock is got to be one of my favourite films off all time, it is so funny and such a good film I have seen it many times, and I will probably see it a few more times aswell. The film is about these group of mates in the criminal underworld, who need to make some cash quick to pay off a gambling debt. ...to steal the cash off these rival dealers, that live on the same estate well should I say next door to them. It is absoulete brilliant the cast is great and the most memorable actor in the film for me has got to be Vinnie Jones, who plays the ruthless debt collector. Then there's this huge black actor who I dont know the name off but he plays a character called Tyrone and he is so funny, nearly every clip of film with this actor in makes you laugh. ... Advantages: outstanding cast and great characters
Disadvantages: not a memorable soundtrack

Terrific from start to end, the characters were genius as was the casting. i only watched it recently for the first time and loved it, all of it, every bit. The story follows boxing promoters,gangsters,bookmakers, a diamond and a whole host of other unsavory characters. The boxing promoters Turkish and Tommy have to arrange a fixed fight with gangster brick top, however the boxer they end up with does not seem to understand the concept of losing. ...
...and the boss Avi comes looking for it with the help of some friends. bullet tooth tony, played by Vinnie Jones and Doug "the head" played by Mike Ried. The two stories cross over and finish with a few surprising twists and turns.Brad Pitt plays Mickey O'Neil a gypsy, his character is brilliant as is Jason Stratham character Turkish, both are funny yet convincing. all the character seem to cross over in on way or another and i love this in a film. ... If you haven't seen this film, then where have you been? What else have you been watching that could possibly keep you away from this film? A film that was sent first class from the streets of London. Actors who seemed destined to play the characters. As seen by Vinnie Jones whos character is based on the notorious Mr David Courtney. Once you've seen this film once is not enough. You will find yourself quoting lines and exploring the special features. ...
...you on the edge of your seat as the action kicks in, but you still find yourself waiting for their plans to go belly up. I don't wish to give the plot away but I will say it may make you think twise before taking part in a poker game. So sit back and enjoy. ... Read review

Disadvantages: The whole film

After "Lock Stock" and "Snatch", I was expecting a very clever gangster epic. And with Ray Liotta, Jason Statham I thought I was going to be pleased. I was very wrong. Dire Dialogue, Crude editing, Poor animation sequences taken directly from "killBill" and some wooden acting, especialy from Andre benjamin (of Outkast fame). This is truely a magnificent accomplishment in film making. I watched this film for the first time only a couple of years ago, to think its now 8 years old!!
