I can remember going to the cinema to watch this film when it first came out, and I was blown away by it. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock in the same movie well what can you say? It is as I usually say about this kind of actionfilm a good dumbaction. You can diconnect your brain and just enjoy the ride. Because this is not a very intellectual movie, you donīt have to take sides because that is taken care of already. Your bad guy is really bad and your hero is really heroic. Going forwards is great, then she turns around.

Advantages: Great action scenes and exciting special effects.
Disadvantages: No match for the first unfortunately.

Plot The sequel to the matrix the plot obviously carries on. Neo is still on his quest to try and 'save the world', but with some new twist and turns also. Neo, Trinity and Morpheus carry on their quest in this film, with the opening of the film joining well from the last. It becomes increasingly apparent that the Machine Army is on its way, and not a lot would stop it. But Morpheus believes in the prophecy and therefore just fighting the old ...
...as he seems to be the difference between mass destruction and mass revolt. Neo must return back to the Matrix and find the key maker within 72 hours before an all-out war errupts upon the city of Zion. Its Out Of This World

Advantages: You dont only get the movies and 7 other discs but a Neo bust aswell
Disadvantages: The display cabinet is very cheap looking and can break easily

This ten-disc DVD Collection has the entire Matrix trilogy, the Animatrix and over 35 hours of have-to-watch extras. The Matrix Trilogy is one of the best, if not the best trilogy, and now it is in a superb collectors edition which is compulsery to buy for its outstandingly low price. the Wachowski brothers have made three films that have grossed 1.6 billion dollars in world-wide box office receipts, the retail of the DVDs and countless other merchandise. ...
...gets you more excited for the last of the trilogy which holds the war between man and machine. If this isnt enough for you than you can begin to watch the DVD's of extras, and be sure to have a day and a half of work to do so. Advantages: Classic 80's fodder
