Disadvantages: narrative is complex and takes concentration on first viewing

...i was told to study the matrix and write a 2500 word essay on it i couldnt have been happier. i found it a joy to watch it over and over again because the complex narrative makes it easy to miss bits or not understand certain aspects of the story. Strange but clever

Advantages: Interesting and gets you thinking
Disadvantages: Can be very confusing and also needs to be watched more than once to understand

I think that this film has a very confusing story to it with the audience (us) not knowing which world is the real one and which world is...... and so on. This film has a very clever aspect to it as it does point out a very good thing about how our lives run and our world. Although scientifically confusing, the film remains interesting and has brilliant actors that best suit this sort of film. One of the majorly different things about this film ...
...ages after the film has actually finished so the film has a bit hit where it is well remembered, even if only saw once. Advantages: Amazing fight sequences

The second part of the Wachowski brothers' Amazing trilogy blasted onto our screens in 2003 with more funding and ground breaking film making. Although the story doesn't directly follow on from Neo's little speech that ended the origial this can be forgiven because of the direction the y now take the film in. Neo has discovered more of his extraordinary powers as 'The One' and the Zion community are worrying about a machine attack. But , whilst still ...
...the films main focus seems to be on Neo's path as he discovers what being the one really means. Lots of money was spent on the now famous bullet time technique which is what the films have become famous for. There is lots of this but as well, there is a lot more real time fighting between people. Going forwards is great, then she turns around.

Advantages: Great action scenes and exciting special effects.
Disadvantages: No match for the first unfortunately.

Plot The sequel to the matrix the plot obviously carries on. Neo is still on his quest to try and 'save the world', but with some new twist and turns also. Neo, Trinity and Morpheus carry on their quest in this film, with the opening of the film joining well from the last. It becomes increasingly apparent that the Machine Army is on its way, and not a lot would stop it. But Morpheus believes in the prophecy and therefore just fighting the old ...
...as he seems to be the difference between mass destruction and mass revolt. Neo must return back to the Matrix and find the key maker within 72 hours before an all-out war errupts upon the city of Zion. Actors Keanu Reeves plays Neo as you all probably know, but if you don't, Neo is supposed as 'the one', effectively meaning he has the power to save the human race.
