Doomsday? Only for the audience!
Advantages: Dazzling special effects, quirky characters,
Disadvantages: story lacks depth, focus too much on the effects
2012 is not a bad movie; indeed it tries hard to be a good movie but unfortunately fails. In my opinion, 2012 had the potential to be the next Day after Tomorrow or Armageddon but unfortunately is lacking. The effects whilst impressive are 'unbelievable' and seem to focus more on the action than the believability of the situation. The story itself delivers pretty much what it promised with a doomsday scenario that isn't entirely out of the realm ...
...this movie bearable- sure the 'broken home' idea is a bit cliche but it seems to work with a few memorable charcters to boot. Overall the movie isn't trying to win any oscars because it won't; however it does deliver a couple of hours of outrageous peril and adventure that will entertain most of the family. ...

Truth often hurts, but its the lie that leaves the scar

Indy at his best
Advantages: Harrison Ford and Sean Connery

Fans of the Indiana Jones films will love the third in the series. The film is called Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and was released in 1989.
This film is set in 1938 and sees the archaeologist, Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), searching for his missing father, Professor Henry Jones (Sean Connery), who has gone missing while on his life long search for the Holy Grail. Indiana uses a Grail diary sent to him by his father from Italy, which has ...
...his father. Indiana receives assistance from wealthy collector, Walter Donavan (Julian Glover) who was funding Professor Jones search. Indiana and Marcus Brody (Denholm Elliott) begin adventure as they are drawn into the search for the Grail along with Indiana’s father, as they race against the Nazis who want the Grail for their own evil purposes.
This is an excellent film with a fantastic story that has some wonderful scenes and plenty of action ...

More like playing a video game
Advantages: Godd Special effects
Disadvantages: you may tend to snooze in some part of the movie
The movie begins with a very interesting story shaping up. However you tend to lose the thread as it progresses further. I personally did not like the movie but I must say the Graphics were quite good. The story revolves around this one family and how luck makes them one of the few surviving species on earth. The story of the movie is not that great and a snooze in the middle wont make you lose the story line. Divorced struggling author (John Cusack) ...

We Were Warned
Advantages: CGI, plot, characters
Disadvantages: Numb bums by the end!
