Easy to watch, fabulous action film.

Advantages: Good plot, action scenes are realistic,as is plot. Fantastic soundtrack.
Disadvantages: Not on long enough!

The Delta Force is all about a plane getting hijacked by a group of militant arabs. The hijackers treat the planes passengers like dirt and some are left dead. This is where the Delta Force comes in. The Delta Force are an elite group - like the SAS. It is their job to free as many of the passengers off the plane. This film has it all, action, adventure, emotion and a stark reminder of the amount of these types of hikackings that was prevelant in the 70's and 80's. Some of the shooting scenes are a little corny in that Chuck Norris seems to doge every bullet, but then again - every film needs its hero.... Advantages: Great powerful acting performances
Disadvantages: Distressing scenes

Review of An Eye For An Eye (DVD)

A marginal improvement

Advantages: Guns, bullets, explosions. The original but better.
Disadvantages: Still predictable, poor plot-wise.

...original (see my opinion on Delta Force) this is still a very poor film. The bad guy is drugs king Ramon Cota (Billy Drago), working from the corrupt country of San Carlo. Drago's performance is perhaps the highlight of the film, with a rather simple portrayal of a bad guy who is, indeed, very very bad. At least you can believe that he's good at his chosen profession, unlike the laughable General Taylor who acts like a kid with his first toy gun. ...
...of the US orders the Delta Force in anyway, and many explosions and much fighting ensues. The action is exactly what you'd expect from one of Norris's films. Bullets everywhere, an ability NEVER to run out of ammo, and bad guys dying in droves. The choppers miraculously reload rockets out of thin air, but this is no way near as ridiculous as the rocket bikes in the original film. Not Fit For Purpose

Advantages: A positive message (sort of).
Disadvantages: Faux Disney schmaltz, only for the youngest.

73. Forest Warrior (1996) This sure ain't Missing in Action 3. There's something a little disturbing about seeing Chuck Norris so clean, with that neatly combed beard. It's not right - he should be crawling through mud, whilst foreign people run around shooting automatic weapons in the air. The Bigger the hit, the faster the rush, the Sweeter the revenge!

Advantages: Great action packed film, Great actors, Good storyline
Disadvantages: You may not be able to get into the story-line!
