Good, but not great, like the first two films

Advantages: Good action, fast paced, mildly entertaining
Disadvantages: a parody of the first two films, nothing original, poor characters

Rise of the Machines was a disappointing effort, in the context of the first two movies in the franchise which were both excellent. T3 has its moments, there are some very well put together action sequences, and its a fast paced film in general. Nick Stahl is a great actor, but he was mis-cast as John Connor. ...T-800 in the first movie. Arnie, God Bless Him, isn't very convincing as the now pensionable Terminator, the character has changed beyond recognition since the first film. The whole thing feels like a rehash, or parody of the first two, there are no new ideas, nothing we haven't seen before, or seen done better in previous instalments. That said, its reasonable entertaining, and its not a bad film by any means. Worth catching on TV, not worth buying ...

Review of Terminator 3 - Rise Of The Machines (DVD)

Good film if it was correct!

Advantages: Good story
Disadvantages: Not factually correct

The story starts in the spring of 1942 where a German submarine is partially destroyed by a British destroyer. However the submarine sends an S.O.S to Germany for help. We then see a wedding reception and men in U.S naval uniform are celebrating. Their celebrations are interupted by an announcement that they must go to their ship. Advantages: amzing, 3in1
Disadvantages: none

Terminator Trilogy

Advantages: Three excellent films all in one box set
Disadvantages: All three films are not of the same standard

The first in this brilliant box set is a thrilling, exciting film that will have you on edge until the end. Arnie is perfectly suited to play the terminator providing a superb performance. This film is still an excellent watch today dispite the age of it. The second film in the triolgy is simply fantastic, maybe the best film i have ever seen. The Bigger the hit, the faster the rush, the Sweeter the revenge!

Advantages: Great action packed film, Great actors, Good storyline
Disadvantages: You may not be able to get into the story-line!
