Oh, James, you do pick them!!
Advantages: Robert Carlyle is an amazing villain Disadvantages: Slightly over the top
Glamour is increasing in the Bond productions, with the special effects and gadgetry associated with Bond, the famous Bond girls being portrayed by models or already well known actresses who are also treated as sex symbols, and Bond himself, here played by Pierce Brosnan for the third time. The new wave of the Bond team has by now set itself into a comfortable slot, and has attracted a good following with the style of filming and characterisation. ... ...another world domination plot.
The Plot
James Bond is sent to find the man who ordered the killing of M's friend, Sir Robert King, British oil tycoon. The assassin was under the employ of Renard, a man who had previously survived an assassination atempt by 009, but was left with a bullet in his head, leaving him impervious to pain. Believing King's daughter, Elektra, to be Renard's intended target, Bond is dispatched to protect her and the oil ...

Bond is back with a bang after 6 years away
Advantages: Brosnan is a complete Bond package Disadvantages: Too long away
...the new James Bond and Goldeneye was released in 1995.
The Plot
James Bond 007 and his fellow agent Alec Trevelyan, 006, infiltrate a chemical facility, but only 997 escapes, with Trevelyan being captured and shot. Nine years later, Bond finds himself searching for the Colonel who killed 006. He is now a General, and has stolen the systems controlling the dual Goldeneye satellite weapons. Bond must survive against the mysterious Janus, whom the ... ...Bond, and just look at Goldeneye as a film regardless of anythign else, I would still be impressed. Brosnan's Bond is equipped with flashier gadgets and cars, and the music is slightly changed, with Bond composer John Barry turning down the opportunity to proovide the music throughout the film, and leaving it to Eric Sierra, whose take on the Bond music is refreshing. Tina Turner provides the vocals for the title track, which was written by Bono ...

Roger Moore's last outing as Bond at 57!!!
Advantages: Great fast paced action Disadvantages: Moore too old, too much killing
...003's corpse, Bond picks up a microchip which is an exact replica of one manufactured by Zorin Industries, owned by the eccentric businessman, Max Zorin. Bond goes undercover to meet Zorin and finds out that he is producing a revolutionary microchip, and that in order to conquer the microchip market, he is planning to destroy Silicon Valley through a series of earthquakes. Bond must team up with oil company owner Stacey Sutton to take on Zorin, his ... ...ease.
Patrick Macnee gives a good turn as a very British horse trainer, Sir Godfrey Tibbett, and Tanya Roberts is good as Bond girl Stacey Sutton, as is Fiona Fullerton as Pola Ivanova. David Yip has a cameo performance. Robert Brown, Desmond Llewelyn and Lois Maxwell return as M, Q and Miss Moneypenny, and the rest of the cast support admirably.
My Opinion
The soundtrack to this Bond ilm haunts me, probably due to the title track, performed by ...

Tomorrow is just another day for Bond
Advantages: Great modern work all round Disadvantages: Ever so slightly lacks Cubby Broccoli's magic
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) is the 18th Bond film, and the second starring Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. Brosnan's first outing as Bond in Goldeneye in 1995 was a great success following a 6 year gap since Timothy Dalton's Bond in Licence to Kill in1989. Goldeneye bridged the gap following the end of the Cold War and the reduction of Soviet villains for Bond, and paved the way for a more modern Bond dealing with more topical issues, as we see here ... ...Goldeneye. While there was success, Tomorrow Never Dies did not rise straight to the top of the box office chart as it was released on the same day as Titanic - not necessarily an error on anyone's part, for who would have thought anything else could have outsold a Bond film? But it did, even though the total amount taken at the box office was more than Goldeneye.
Bond musical legend John Barry again opted out of adapting music for the film, but ...

Takes a giant leap for mankind
Advantages: Roger Moores biggest adventure as Bond Disadvantages: Made in 1979, looks dated in parts
...that had not been used, Moonraker seemed the most appropriate for the time.
---The Source---
The title comes from Ian Flemings’ third Bond novel. Moonraker was released in April 1955. In the story Bond is asked, as a personal favour to M, to expose a member of the exclusive gentlemen's club called Blades, this person is suspected of cheating at cards. The man’s name is Hugo Drax; he is the Head of Britain's Moonraker rocket program. The stakes ... ...the end of the Inside Moonraker documentary there are a number of bloopers shown, which are quite rare. It also discusses the fact that this was the first time that a Bond production was based outside of Pinewood Studios; in fact this film was made mainly in France. The documentary shows what problems were faced with a different cultural way of working, and what was done to resolve the issues and move on. The documentaries that go behind the scenes ...
