Power is nothing without control
Advantages: Back to the cruising scene with great cars, great sound systems and great girls. Action packed Disadvantages: It's not as good as Fast and Furious, poor acting, unrealistic story
...Justin Lin Tokyo Drift was the third film released under the “Fast and Furious” name back in June 2006.
This review is based on a television showing a couple of weeks ago and not the DVD, therefore I cannot comment on the additional or bonus features, whether it is a single or double DVD, what the cover of the DVD looks like, who is credited on the cover of the DVD or anything else that the DVD contains. I am not bothered about the actual DVD and ... ...review of the film only.
Plot
Sean Boswell (“Lucas Black”) is an American high school student with a healthy passion for cars, but an unhealthy passion for illegal street racing. Sean is one of the kids that can disappear in to the background since he is a loner that is looked down on by his peers. This movie commences with Sean doing what he does best, or what he thinks he does best, racing. An illegal street race goes terribly wrong and after ...

Tokyo Drift
Advantages: Cool Cars, An exciting film Disadvantages: Nothing like the first 2
...really good story line
The sequel to Fast and Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious, al these films are about illegal streetracing and the car scene.
The Fast And The Furious - Tokyo Drift is about a 17year old lad (Shaun) whos into cars, he gets into quite a lot of trouble everywhere he lives and him and his mother have to keep leaving town to stop Shaun from getting into more trouble.
He ends up in a race with a rich lad and his girlfriend and ends up ... ...This is where Shaun discovers the Tokyo car scene of drifting, he soon realises this is nothing like racing back home and needs teaching how to drift, after lots of hard work and tyres he starts learning to get there, while making new friends in his new town.
He also meets DK (Drift King) and his aim it to be as good as him and beat him in a drift match.
Thats just a bit about it for the rest you'll have to watch it.
The film is lacking in actors ...

a fast and furious way to waste your money
Advantages: Three films with unbeliavably nice cars in Disadvantages: The films arnt that great
Although i enjoyed the first two films and didn't love nor hate the third. i feel this release is unnecessary. but the main reason i don't really like it is all down to the third film; The fast and the furious-Tokyo drift. if it didn't have "The fast and the furious" in the title you would have know idea its anything to do with the other two. at least they had the same character in. but this is just a completely different thing alltoghter. i thought ... ...garage like it said in the film. but anyway ill move on.
The fast and the furious-
i really enjoyed this film, it was different to anything i had seen back then and the characters were good as well.
the story follows Brian O'Connor played excellently by Paul Walker an undercover cop assigned to find out who's stealing electronic equipment he gets in with Domenic Toretto played brilliantly by Vin Diesel, whilst trying to find out who stole the ...

That's something I'd drive
Advantages: Great entertainment Disadvantages: Believability at times
...would have thought that the Fast and Furious series of films would reach a fourth installment? The first one was an entertaining one with some impressive driving supported by a good plot. The second featured a downgraded version, with the third enjoyable but very much run of the mill. So, it may have been time to call it a day. But no, the return of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to film a fourth film, together for the first time since the first film, ... ...high speed cars and the fast paced plot, but they still need to uphold their end and keep the focus firmly on the plot. They do this perfectly, and with a strong supporting cast including Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, the solidity runs right through.
The special effects must be mentioned. There are plenty of explosions, high speed car chases, and fight scenes, and while not everything is perfect, it is all impressive. The plot wings its ...

Flat and Not Furious
Advantages: Some decent stunt driving. Disadvantages: Terrible direction, writing and performances.
...when the original movie “The Fast and the Furious” was released and it seemed that Vin Diesel might become Hollywood’s next action hero…But times have changed and Diesel’s career has been going downhill ever since “XXX”. So maybe a franchise reboot might help to rebuild his reputation, right? Hell no! This is a completely unnecessary addition to the series and probably the weakest of the lot (and that’s saying something). “Tokyo Drift” director Justin ... ...coffin. There are oodles of problems with the film, not least a cast so wooden it’s like watching a room set from Ikea. But Lin tries to make a feature of his actors by suggesting they have some kind of inner life, leading to a series of melodramatic exchanges that are laughable rather than enlightening. These undermine any semblance of suspense the film might have had. It’s all the needless macho posturing that really damages it. You won’t care ...
