Denzel Washington plays a ATF agent who is called upon by the FBI to analyze footage of an explosion that kills hundreds in New Orleans. The plot plays out well, Val Kilmer doesn't really add much to his role as the leader of the FBI time surveillance squad. True Romance is a fantastic film which boasts an all-star cast including the likes of Christopher Walken, Christian Slater, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman amongst others and the film is filled with such colourful characters and indeed dialogue which provides a somewhat memorable movie. Top Gun was the blockbuster hit of 1986 and is still extremely popular today.
