Review of Batman (Movie Box Set) (DVD)

The movie Top Gun was the first of its kind for military movies

Advantages: Action packed, thrilling, great storyline
Disadvantages: Doesn't follow the exact truth of the real top gun

In my opinion, Top Gun was the first of its kind in relation to the military drama and action. They used real footage of F-14s and F-5s out in the desert and caught the footage from chase planes and positions on the ground. As well as the film footage of the outside of the planes is, the footage from inside the cockpit(s), are, in my opinion, crappy and unrealistic. If the scene was supposed to be at night, they changed the lighting in the film to make it seem as if it was taped at night, but really they just took the film shot during daylight for Top Gun and darkened it. Who said romance was dead?

Advantages: Original, fast paced, a multitude of stars
Disadvantages: Too violent, swearing

True Romance is a fantastic film which boasts an all-star cast including the likes of Christopher Walken, Christian Slater, Dennis Hopper, Gary Oldman amongst others and the film is filled with such colourful characters and indeed dialogue which provides a somewhat memorable movie. Lets all go to Gay Perry!

Advantages: It doesn't take people being shot too seriously
Disadvantages: Its a bit confusing over who just died and who is who

I have been bugged to watch this for the past year and finally agreed to take the bullet and sat down to enjoy one of my favourite actors in a film which I thought would be another Smokin' Aces.
