Connery is not forever, but diamonds are!
Advantages: The return of Connery Disadvantages: Too tongue in cheek for me
...next Bond film in 1971, Diamonds Are Forever, Mr. Charisma Sean Connery came back for one more film before passing the mantle over to Roger Moore.
The Plot
With revenge on the mind as much as stopping the international crime lord, James Bond once again faces his nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Anxious to stop a diamond smuggling ring, Bond is sent to Vegas to pose as a diamond dealer, where he faces the deadly pairing of killers Mr Wint and Mr Kidd, ... ...and Thumper. Whilst there, Bond uncovers Blofeld's plot to create a diamond laser positioned in space, where he can hold the world to ransom. Armed with a host of gadgets from Q and equipped with a whole load of double entendres of his own, Bond faces possibly his toughest mission yet.
The Cast and Performances
Sean Connery looks a lot older as Bond, but it still does not detract from his performance. The only negative I have is that there is less ...

'Sheer Cinematic History'
Advantages: Sean Connery as James Bond! Aston Martin DB5 introduced Disadvantages: Aston Martin crashes into a wall ouch!
...to keep an eye on Goldfinger the villain of the piece, getting entangled in his business and his women. This entanglement takes him to different points in the world and gets him into many dangerous circumstances. The famous Lazer beam sequence resounds in the memories of people today. THE CAR:
When I first saw this film I think I was about 12 and what I liked about this film was the car chase. Never before in cinema history had anyone really seen ... ...interaction between Connery's Bond and Goldfinger they appear to seem friendly initially I think as they try to scope each other out. But Bond's subtle arrogance ignites Goldfinger's firey temper as he refuses to go away. He is a quieter villain in my opinion but nevertheless evil, clearly a businessman obsessed with gold.
JAMES BOND:
What is great about Sean Connery's Bond is he is able to pull of the coolness and suaveness without over doing ...

Martial arts with a difference
Advantages: James Bond meets Abbott & Costello Disadvantages: good but not brilliant
...Allow me to elaborate.
Remo Williams {Fred Ward} is a New York police officer. He is in his patrol car on a stakeout when suddenly he is attacked and left for dead. Remo is hospitalised and starts to recover. When finally compus mentus he is greeted by a man at the end of his bed who tells him that he is needed by them and that he is not the same man etc. Remo looks in a mirror to discover his appearance has been altered. Naturally Remo is pretty ... ...to assassinate a Korean man. Remo sneaks in with his gun and sees this little old man making tea. Remo tries to shoot him but oddly misses everytime. There is more to this man than meets the eye. He sees the tension on the trigger finger, hears the guns mechanism, pre-empts the shot, and dodges the bullet. He closes in and does a great move putting Remo in an arm lock removing the magazine from the pistol very fast and proceeds to thumb out the bullets ...

Golden, Golden, Golden Bond
Advantages: 3 Great Films Disadvantages: Rather expensive RRP on them in comparsion
Golden, Golden, Golden. Undoubtedly 3 of the best Bonds. First of all theres Goldfinger featuring evil arch villain (you guessed it) Goldfinger, has a strange obsession of murdering people by covering them in solid gold paint. Will Goldfinger succeed in his attempt to rob Fort Knox, surely not, but hey, it's Bond... anything can happen. The Second Golden film, this time, is the Man With the Golden Gun. Here new Bond Roger Moore, takes on new villain ... ...uses a Golden Gun. So when Bond receives a bullet with his name on from him, things start to get a bit heated. Will Scaramanga succeed in assassinating Bond, or will he be made to bite the "bullet". The third Golden Bond is Golden Eye, this sees yet another new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, star in his debut film. Things look bad for Bond when his best friend 006 appears to be assassinated. After a massive electromagnetic pulse, is set off, Bind goes in ...
