A difficult situation for Jackson

Review of The Negotiator (DVD)

very explosive

Advantages: some great scenes
Disadvantages: abit too long

...the plot is basically about a DEA agent who goes after one of the top drug lords in Columbia. The main character is played by Vin Diesel out of the xxx films, and to be honest leave vin's accent and he is the best actor for this film. The action scenes are brilliant and there are lots of them aswell, there is some great gun fights especially when Diesel meets up with some of his old mates who are gangbangers to hunt down the noterious drug lord, ...
...disapointed at all it is a very good film. One thing that I didn't like about it was that it was abit too long for my liking. Vin Diesel is at his best in this film, he does alot of action films and he is normally good in them all, but this one sticks out in my mind out of the lot of them. It is definetly worth a visit down to your local video shop to eithier rent or buy this dvd, to be honest your better off buying a copy because you are gurantied ...

Review of A Man Apart (DVD)

The Italian Jobs Box Set

Advantages: Great box set of a legendary film and a good remake
Disadvantages: Could have makde more of original version

I brought the box set as I enjoyed the new version at the cinema and my old version had worn out! Whilst mine was £15 at a well-known store a while ago, sets are now alot cheaper if you search for them. I'd reccommend getting the set as I enjoyed making comparsions between the films. I'm not going to cover the plots as the Italian Job is a legend but suffice to say it involves stealing large amounts of gold using minis as the getaway cars. Noel Cowards ...
...flims has changed alot since the orignial so Charlize Theron as Crokers daughter was a good addition. The DVD extras on how the new film pays homage to the old is great and shows alot of thought went into the remake. Whilst the newer version is the newer slick hollywood version rather than the british 70's budget film there are somethings that the new version cannot trump. The original mini chase is still the best and how can you replace Benny Hill ...

The Bigger the hit, the faster the rush, the Sweeter the revenge!

Advantages: Great action packed film, Great actors, Good storyline
Disadvantages: You may not be able to get into the story-line!
