Three unbelievable motion pictures
Advantages: Great acting and filming.
Disadvantages: very lengthy, can get boring for some, NOT ME.
The truely monstrous task of cramming a whole tolkien 'Lord of the rings' novel into a single movie looked unthinkable until Peter Jackson had a go, producing three spectacular films. 'The Fellowship of the Ring' was the first novel and so rightly, the first film to be created. The imagery and detail was incredible and after leaving the cinema I felt it was obvious i needed to go back just to re-live tolkiens world once again. But the film didn't ...

I later found out that Viggo had learnt everything for this film, from horse riding to sword fighting, he truely wanted to get fully involved in the films action. Other leading roles included Gandalf, the old, kind wizzard, a friend to the ring bearer frodo, and a character whos careing attitude brought frodo to the edge of mount doom ...

More like Cycle of The Rings, it feels as long!
Advantages: Yet more great special effects
Disadvantages: far too long & dull
To describe the plot in a nutshell this is the movie that separates the original group who started out with the ring, the meeting of The Ents (the last of a species of intelligent trees), defending Rohan and moving Frodo and the ring further towards Morder. We meet Elves, more bad things and nasty wizards as well as learning more about Gollum and a giant spider. The 1st 20 minutes of this film is huge tracts of flashbacks to the first movie in order ...
...I'm honest. Generally again, the pacing in this film is too much. It just lasts far too long. It's a bit annoying that Frodo & Sam go to a place in this film where they don't actually go in the book. If the director thought it was a good idea to adapt a book then why not stick to the story of the book? They stick to book one and they stick to book three but they start inventing things for book two? Who died and made him Tolkien? Of the 3 films this ...

My Precious ( lord of the rings trilogy)
Advantages: best dvd collection you can own,
Disadvantages: need plenty of time to see the film

Not quite 'Heat', but not entirely cold!
Advantages: slick action film, clever in parts
Disadvantages: not so clever in the other parts
Swordfish is a hard action / thriller starring John Travolta as Gabriel Shear and Hugh Jackman as Stanley Jobson. I really liked this film a few years ago when it came out (2001) but it didn't do too well at cinema, partially because it was one of the terrorist based films that were pulled from screens after 9/11. Advantages: Great action some good music in it
Disadvantages: none really
...I do like the second xxx 2 the next level better that the first. I hope they bring a thrid out, the way the second is left leaves it open for a follow up. Vin is a really good actor but he is hardly in the second of any of his films and this is no exception. The second one is more upbeat and positive.
