Best Bond since 1969!
Review of The Living Daylights (Ultimate Edition) by
arthurpringle
Advantages: Beautiful locales, exciting action, Timothy Dalton's confident debut
Disadvantages: Slightly complicated plot
...A View To a Kill the producers of the world's most enduring franchise had not only to find a new James Bond but also freshen up their slightly tired series. 33 year-old Pierce Brosnan was eventually hired and after Michael G Wilson's proposed origin idea was rejected by Albert R Broccoli, a taut more grounded film was planned with Fleming's short story giving the film both its title and opening sequences. At the last minute Brosnan's Bond dream was ... ...had spoken to Broccoli about the James Bond mantle several times before but now he was finally free and Broccoli needed him desperately.
The Living Daylights opens with a well directed pre-credit sequence set on Gibraltar. A military exercise between the '00' section and the SAS is gatecrashed by an enemy Agent. He kills three men before Bond pursues him in an exciting runaway Jeep set-piece. Timothy Dalton does a lot of his own stuntwork and proves ...

BOND, JAMES BOND
Review of James Bond Ultimate Sean Connery - Dr.No/From Russia With Love/Goldfinger/Thunderball/You Only Live Twice/Diamonds Are Forever (Box Set) by
dodgeinator
Advantages: THE BEST FILM'S EVER
Disadvantages: RATHER PRICEY BOX SET
...- undoubtedly the greatest ever James Bond, whether it is sexy attitude towards the opposite sex or the amount of villains he has knocked out with one punch, he is the Best. What better way to relive these epic Connery adventures than to purchase this Dvd box set. Dr. No - The first bond film about a corrupt villain named (you guessed it) Dr No. From Russia With Love - Bond is sent to Russia in order to stop SPECTRE's attempt to rule the world (again). ... ...in solid gold paint. Will Gold finger succeed in his attempt to rob Fort Knox, surely not. With more classic titles included such as Thunder ball (a true bond classic, with a great story line), You Only Live Twice (Trouble in Japan for Mr James Bond), and Diamonds are Forever. ...

"She must take a lot of vitamins!"
Review of A View To A Kill (Ultimate Edition) by
arthurpringle
Advantages: Fun cast, good stunts
Disadvantages: Bit silly in places, quite long
A View To A Kill, first released in 1985, was the seventh and final film to feature Roger Moore as James Bond and the fourteenth entry in the franchise. The film is not widely regarded to be one of the strongest entries in the series, often cropping up near the bottom of Bond fan lists, but it is, in my opinion, an enjoyable piece of hokum that has more to enjoy than some would give it credit for. A View To A Kill's plot is essentially an update ... ...(Christopher Walken) and stumbles upon a scheme that proposes to flood oil wells along the San Andreas fault in California, set off explosives and destroy Silicon Valley. Such a scheme would of course make Zorin's business considerably more lucrative and unique. Along the way we get the usual stunts, chases, double entendres, girls, humour, one-liners, sadism and the general nonsense and fun that you'd expect from a Roger Moore James Bond film.

Roger Moore's last outing as Bond at 57!!!
Review of A View To A Kill DVD by
pmcds
Advantages: Great fast paced action
Disadvantages: Moore too old, too much killing
...003's corpse, Bond picks up a microchip which is an exact replica of one manufactured by Zorin Industries, owned by the eccentric businessman, Max Zorin. Bond goes undercover to meet Zorin and finds out that he is producing a revolutionary microchip, and that in order to conquer the microchip market, he is planning to destroy Silicon Valley through a series of earthquakes. Bond must team up with oil company owner Stacey Sutton to take on Zorin, his ... ...ease.
Patrick Macnee gives a good turn as a very British horse trainer, Sir Godfrey Tibbett, and Tanya Roberts is good as Bond girl Stacey Sutton, as is Fiona Fullerton as Pola Ivanova. David Yip has a cameo performance. Robert Brown, Desmond Llewelyn and Lois Maxwell return as M, Q and Miss Moneypenny, and the rest of the cast support admirably.
My Opinion
The soundtrack to this Bond ilm haunts me, probably due to the title track, performed by ...

Barbara ... ...Bond 007 the spy who loved me is brilliant. Everything about it, its detail, story, special effects everything about the film is brilliant.
The story is very original and entertaining. One of the best things with this film is that it makes the impossible possible. And i really mean that. It takes a super mad villian and makes a thrilling story.
The special effects to this day are still outstanding. The models of the submarines, the atlantis and ...
