Advantages: Great characters, engaging storyline
Disadvantages: Probably a bit boring if you don't like these types of films

Advantages: Visually Impressive & Action Packed
Disadvantages: Cheesy in places, a little predictable

Review of Hellboy 2 - The Golden Army (Blu-ray)

Expect to be as frustrated as you are entertained.

Advantages: Some great comic moments. Ron Perlman is astoundingly good.
Disadvantages: Lacks both the punch and spectacle you would expect. The ending feels cliched.

Hell it's Hellboy!

Advantages: Great action, acting and make up
Disadvantages: None

I recently went to see Hellboy 2 - The Golden Army when it was showing on a preview at the cinema. I really enjoyed this sequel and so will share my views on this film. The film is written and directed by Guillermo del Toro The plot - There is a new bad guy on the scene who wants to control Earth and to do so he wants to awaken the services of The Golden army - a mechanical, undefeatable, army of golden soldiers created by the King of the mythical ...
...who were in the first Hellboy and these actors have stayed the same for these parts. Obviously however there are some new characters we see and these are equally as good in my opinion!
