Weak sequel Advantages: Angelina Jolie Disadvantages: Weak story and acting ...sequel to the 2001 film, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. This film was called Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life. The tomb raider, Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) is asked by MI6 to find Pandora’s Box, a mythical box said to contain a deadly plague. She must find the box before the evil scientist, Jonathan Reiss (Ciaran Hinds) who plans to sell it as a deadly weapon. In order to find the Box, an orb called the Cradle of Life, which acts as a map to ... ...Lo steals the orb, Croft enlists the services of former lover and now mercenary, Terry Sheridan (Gerard Butler), to retrieve the orb before it falls into the hands of Reiss and allows him to find Pandora’s Box. This is a decent film with an interesting film, but it is somewhat lacking in the script department. It seems to rely too much on the special effects and action scenes, which have to be said, are impressive. I feel the need, the need....to get everyone off the bus! Advantages: Easy to watch, acting, FX Disadvantages: Nothing really, perhaps a little dated If Speed was to be released now, it would be considered a bit behind the times an the special effects would be considered a bit run of the mill. The plot would be average and predictable, and the excitement factor would be softened by the general presentation. However, when it came out in 1994, it was hailed as a huge blockbuster, with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock heading the billing in the middle of a good run on both their careers. And with ... ...so, it works perfectly. Speed is available to buy from amazon.co.uk for £4.88. It's well worth giving a go if you catch it on TV or buy the DVD. An easy to watch film that I happily recommend. 50mph Mayhem! Advantages: Excellent first film Disadvantages: Speed 2 is included. lack of special features Speed 1 in my opinion is one of the greatest action movies of all time. speed 2 however tried to cash in on the first films sucess and failed horribly. The first speed movie follows the adventure of a cop who gets caught up with a mad mans atempt to become rich by using certain devalish plots. The main one of which being putting a bomb on a bus so that if it goes under 50mph thenit will expolode. if this sounds like a good plot in your eyes then ... ...worth your time at all. The god awfull film follows a ship as it is plotted a course to crash into an oil tanker by you typical evil genius. Its ones of the worst movies ever made. If i were you i would buy speed 1 on its own as its cheaper and if your like me you would preffer to have just the 1 DVD in the box. ... Bill Paxton plays Bill, in case he forgets his name Advantages: Helen Hunt looks sexy Disadvantages: Gets a bit boring This gets a decent review purely for how Helen Hunt looks (foxy as heck!). I'll get you over some facts first, this isn't about the famous board game where you spin the spinner & get tied up in knots. It's about the mental idiots who chase storms for a living to try and enhance the science of weather prediction and tornado behavior, following their research and the highs and lows of their lives chasing storms. Going from being a no-one in Terminator, ... ...starring role of Bill (just in case he can't remember his own characters name I assume?), a former storm chaser who is about to settle down into married life (again) with a new wife and a new job as a weather man. He has gone out the field to see his ex-wife played by the lovely looking Helen Hunt to get her to sign his divorce papers, but he's taken his new wife to be with him.
