Mr and Mrs Pitt
Advantages: Exciting scenes
Disadvantages: Weak script
This Doug Liman film, Mr and Mrs Smith, received a lot of press on its release in 2005, thanks to the close relationship between the two lead stars, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

"YOU DONT WANT TO MISS A THING"
Advantages: The whole film
Disadvantages: None
A good, great, wonderful, amazing film. One that you can watch over and over again without feeling bored of it. I personally must have watched this film at least 20 times.
In the last 30 minutes of the film, that when the tears come, and they flow right to the end including the credits that play the Aerosmith song. You feel like you are experiencing everything with the team, you laugh and cry with them. A great cast, a great film, a great sountrack ...

Have A Good Life. Whats Left Of It
Advantages: Good fast paced action movie, decent martial arts scenes

...did really like the first Transporter movie and so it was really inevitable that I’d be seeing this regardless of my prior concerns about it.
Statham resumes his role from the first movie as a Transporter, a man paid to deliver things from one place to another. Only this time he has moved to Miami and the films starts with him doing a favour for a friend and acting as a chauffer. When the little boy he is driving around becomes the target of a kidnapping ...
...This second instalment of the Transporter series sees Statham team up for the second time with Louis Leterrier. His direction seems to have come on a little from the first movie but with that in mind it still looks pretty good. The fight sequences are very well choreographed and look really well put together. The car and boat chases also look amazing with Leterrier really using some great angles and effects to create a film that looks really good.

The volcano is hot, the film is not
Advantages: Good special effects
Disadvantages: Lack of characterisation, not enough human emotion
...Peak, which is similar to Volcano in every respect, except that Pierce Brosnan is in the lead role and not Tommy Lee Jones. Volcano isn't that terrible, but it definately doesn't class as one of the great disaster movies, even if it does contain some well cheoreographed action sequences and a solid (but not great) performance from Jones. ...same. The main problem with Volcano is that you don't feel any connection to the lead characters, with a lack of characterisation prevalent throughout. As the title suggests this film is all about a Volcano and its aftermath. The big difference is that the Volcano explodes in the middle of Los Angeles (which is scientifically impossible, but obviously nothing is impossible in Hollywood), leading to absolute chaos on the streets. Hollywood Homicide is a drag
Advantages: Some comedic moments
Disadvantages: Just drags
...is what I experienced with Hollywood Homicide. The film stars Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett as two cops who moonlight as other things and pits them against some bad guys in investigating a multiple homicide. It hasn't received great reviews, and I could see why. The director, Ron Shelton, hasn't really grabbed the bull by the horns with this one. The actors appear uncomfortable and the plot is just too weak.

...Joe Gavilan (Ford) and the rookie K C Calden (Hartnett), to investigate the murders of four men in a club shooting. They uncover corruption as they worm their way towards a bigger plot that they find themselves caught up in. And, naturally, there is an internal investigation going on in the department, and the internal investigator just happens to have a long term grudge against Gavilan.
