Bourne Identity - Where it all started
Advantages: Good car chase scenes, decent acting, pretty good storyline
Disadvantages: None
I got the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy DVD boxset the other day and I haven't watched the Bourne Supremacy yet but I did watch the Bourne Identity yesterday afternoon so I thought I'd post a hopefully fairly quick review on that, for anyone thinking about buying it as a catchup on the Bourne movies before going to see the new Bourne movie, the Bourne Ultimatum, in the cinema this month.

The Bourne Supremacy - More of the same
Advantages: Some good action scenes (incl one good long car chase scene)
Disadvantages: A bit predictable, not as good as the first movie I felt
...think that it really ruins the movie but I warn before going into details about scenes so you can skip that section if your worried**
This movie takes place after the end of the last film (the Bourne Identity - which I've also written a review about) and it basically all starts when a person very close to Jason is killed in an assassination attempt on Bournes life. Jason again suffers from amnesia and sets off to avenge the death and to again try ...
...his past.
Apart from the assassination attempt, I found the start of the movie to be fairly bland and slow and the movie itself seemed pretty same-ish, with less substance than the previous film.
This film does have some good action scenes, particularly noteable being a long car chase scene towards the end of the film (can you tell from past reviews that im keen on car chase scenes in movies?!) and again the film is set in/includes footage in different ...

X Men all in one place - result!!
Advantages: Fast paced, action filled trilogy with great special effects
Disadvantages: The sequels are clearly afterthoughts
This is a brilliant way to watch all three X Men films one after another, with no annoying waiting to find out what happens next.
X Men one seems to work, as with Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl, as a solo film. With talent such as Patrick Stewart as Prof. Xavier and Ian McKellen as Magneto, you can't go far wrong. Hugh Jackman is perfect as the troubled Wolverine. The special effects are amazing and the film really grips your ...
...never meant to be made, but was because of the money it could turn over. However, it delivers at the same fast pace as the first film, and has the same excellent cast, so doesn't really disappoint.
X Men 3 is the newest of the three, having only been released in 2006. It spends the entire movie trying to tie up loose ends, but is filled with amazing action sequences and special effects. The ending leaves you hanging and definately predicts another ...

BRINING LEGENDS BACK TO LIFE

Everyone has heard of the epic and legendary battle of troy. In the film it brings the battle to life making it feel like you are actually there. The DVD it self has a few features including running commentary with the director. He gives his views and opinions on the film. I would totally advice you to buy this DVD. I feel 15 is a suitable but that you could find the dvd cheaper somewhere else. please rate ...

Bourne is Back
Advantages: Good action and more intelligent than most
Disadvantages: Same story different title
...(Matt Damon) is back as the rogue CIA assasin on the run from his former masters trying to remember his past.
When a CIA operation to purchase classified secrets from the Russians go wrong a rogue agent is suspected by the CIA. Who else but Jason Bourne. Jason however is just trying to live out his life in peace after leaving his violent life behind him. However when he again finds himself with the cross hairs on his back he must use all the skills ...
...However when Bourne and the head of the CIA operation talk they realise that neither is envolved with the other. Jason had nothing to do with the operation that went wrong and the CIA have no reason to target him. So why is he still being constantly hunted by a highly profesional and skilled enemy.
Like the first Bourne film the story line is complex but very interesting, using big action car chases and a very good script this film is almost definatly ...
