...view, I would still rate Goldfinger very highly. The Bond series has a fresh director at the helm and an extremely charismatic Bond leading on the screen. The scenery in the film is beautiful, and the characterisation from Fleming is transferred very well onto the screen by Richard Maibaum, the screenplay writer.
