Who Do You Want To Kill?
Advantages: Excellently directed Disadvantages: Slow at times, very brutal
...then vows that she will kill Bill…
Kill Bill is a film that you’ll either love or you’ll hate simply because this movie is so extreme and outrageous. I better just say for the record that I’m by no means a fan of Quentin Tarantino’s work, I find most of his films to be too fragmented and outlandish as they’re either way too slow that they’ll send you to sleep or they move at such a frantic pace that it’s hard to keep up. Kill Bill showcases both ... ...stands out for me concerning Kill Bill is the sheer pace and franticness of it all, right from the opening sequence we witness the brutal ‘murder’ of The Bride which then leads straight onto an excellently choreographed fight between The Bride and the first of the Deadly Four, Copperhead (Vivica A. Fox), who in reality is the last in this volume to die. This is one of my favourite parts of the movie as it shows what a sharp sense of humour Quentin ...

Kill Bill Vol. 2 - can it cut it?
Advantages: Amazing music, sharp script Disadvantages: Last third drags on a bit
Kill Bill Vol. 2 is the concluding installment of the Kill Bill saga. In this one the Bride (Uma Thurman) continues her vengeance against her ex-boss, Bill, and the two remaining members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad; his younger brother Budd, and Bill's latest flame Elle.
The first one had more of an eastern feel, this one is more like a western. So it's dusty, dirty and sweaty. Again Tarantino enlists the help of Ennio Morricone, the ... ...legendary. His music is masterful, the lone trumpets in his compositions invoking a sense of isolation and the wild west, which is exactly the tone this film needs.
The acting is good again, helped by a sharp script. The action scenes are fewer and far between than the first one but equally as impressive. Again during the fight scenes the music is kept to a minimum (if there is any at all) so you can hear every time the blade swooshes past the camera ...

Tarantino classic.
Advantages: Classic references to Martial arts, Spaghetti Westerns and japanese anime films. Disadvantages: Unsuitable for anyone under the age of 18
In my opinion, this film (volume 1 +2) defines the nostalgic, "Grindhouse" stlye of Quentin Tarantino. I have studied for many years his work and "Kill Bill"in my opinion emerges as the victor as the ultimate reference guide of cool movies! References in this classic are made to such films as "The good the bad and the ugly", "A Fistfull of Dollars", Five Fingers of Death", "Shogn Assasin" and even The simpsons. The references made in this film require ...

cult classic b-movie
Advantages: carradine, stallone working wonders together Disadvantages: made in the 70's so budget lower than now adays and shows
this classic from 1975 hosts a storyline that is set in the year 2000 as they saw it to be then.
the story is a mad capped race similar to the canonball run or gumball rally across america with a twist you get points for killing people (running them down) so for the racers its not all about speed but the amount they can run down with a special point system depending of kill i.e kids oaps women men.
to add more twists to this already sceptical story ...

Better than the AWFUL remake
Advantages: Great cast and good plot Disadvantages: Shows its age
...have been replaced by the Death Race, a drive across the country with the emphasis on the death part. Drivers score points by killing civilians with differing amounts of points given for differing catagories of people. More points given for the old and infirm, also for the young. This is a ride across a strictly ruled America with it's tongue well and truly buried in it's cheek. David Carradine plays Frankenstein, the most infamous Death Racer, known ... ...track record for success but you'll discover a sinister secret lurks under the black leather mask. Theres anarchists and some sex appeal with lady drivers and navigators as well as some nudity also which is not unwelcome either! Also even a great comic role and early film appearance by Sly Stallone. Every time I see this film I can never remember if I've seen it all until the end of the race. Then I recall where Carradine is and what happens to the ...
