Golden, Golden, Golden Bond
Review of James Bond Ultimate Golden Triple Pack - Goldfinger/The Man With The Golden Gun/Goldeneye (Box Set) by dodgeinator

Advantages: 3 Great Films
Disadvantages: Rather expensive RRP on them in comparsion

Golden, Golden, Golden. Undoubtedly 3 of the best Bonds. First of all theres Goldfinger featuring evil arch villain (you guessed it) Goldfinger, has a strange obsession of murdering people by covering them in solid gold paint. Will Goldfinger succeed in his attempt to rob Fort Knox, surely not, but hey, it's Bond... anything can happen. The Second Golden film, this time, is the Man With the Golden Gun. Here new Bond Roger Moore, takes on new villain ...
...uses a Golden Gun. So when Bond receives a bullet with his name on from him, things start to get a bit heated. Will Scaramanga succeed in assassinating Bond, or will he be made to bite the "bullet". The third Golden Bond is Golden Eye, this sees yet another new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, star in his debut film. Things look bad for Bond when his best friend 006 appears to be assassinated. After a massive electromagnetic pulse, is set off, Bind goes in ... Read review

Golden Bond
Review of Goldeneye (Two Disc) (Ultimate Edition) by Timbo3107

Advantages: Refreshed, rejuvanated and reworked.
Disadvantages: Far too much product obvious placement

...took the part of Bond. GoldenEye was to be the first film in 6 years. The title of the film comes from the name of the Jamaican retreat that Fleming lived in whilst writing the novels back in the 1950’s. A lot had also changed with the production team as well. As producer Cubby Broccoli, writer Richard Maibaum and main titles director Maurice Binder had all passed away. Leadership of EON, the company that produces the Bond films had been passed ...
...an actor, it is in GoldenEye that I will always remember him for. As soon as you see him you know who it is and was very surprised at how well he played the role. In the role he plays a small time criminal who acts as a liaison for Bond. Overall the cast is a truly international set of actors and actresses that have been bought together, Brosnan and Bean go well together as they are different in looks and stature. ---Soundtrack--- On the hole this ... Jet Li...A true martial artist at his best!
Review of Fist Of Legend DVD by cobainkurdt

Advantages: A staggering performance and innate story!
Disadvantages: fight scenes slightly unrealistic but not over the top

Fist of legend is a remake of Bruce Lee's 'Fist of fury'. However this movie not only changes my perception on remakes it makes me want to watch remakes as opposed to originals. At first I was rather skeptical about this Jet Li movie...nevertheless,from the words lights camera action: there was alot of action. The genres swerve between historical aspects with reference to Japan and China during the 1930s (although historical inaccuracies occur as ...
...and Juliet' and the movie even reflected the genre of revenge analogous to that in William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet'. The fight scenes are brilliant and so fast you might even have to play a scene again to see what actually happened. Jet Li shows why he is amongst the likes of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee. However Jet Li not only demonstrates his boxing (fist) skills : he shows us trademark innovative Kung Fu mixed with Karate and the 'way of the samurai'. ... Read review

"She always did enjoy a good squeeze."
Review of Goldeneye DVD by arthurpringle

Advantages: A lot of fun
Disadvantages: A bit of a mess in places

...years and now for 1995's GoldenEye he would finally take the role he had coveted for so long. GoldenEye begins in the best possible way. A spectacular bungee jump from a dam announces that Bond is back. The pre-credit sequence is a flashback set in the former Soviet Union. 007 is on a mission with Alec Trevelyan aka '006' (Sean Bean) to destroy a chemical weapons factory. It's great fun to see Brosnan finally playing James Bond and although the ...
...so great in other areas. GoldenEye is a film that could have been edited a bit more. I'm not quite sure if I can describe what I mean but something about Campbell's pacing never quite sits right with me. The plot of GoldenEye involves a satellite weapon that falls into the wrong hands. I enjoyed a great deal 007's early investigation which takes in the theft of a high-tech helicopter from a warship in Monte Carlo. Brosnan is very suave and composed ... Read review

Bond is back with a bang after 6 years away
Review of Goldeneye DVD by pmcds

Advantages: Brosnan is a complete Bond package
Disadvantages: Too long away

...the new James Bond and Goldeneye was released in 1995. The Plot James Bond 007 and his fellow agent Alec Trevelyan, 006, infiltrate a chemical facility, but only 997 escapes, with Trevelyan being captured and shot. Nine years later, Bond finds himself searching for the Colonel who killed 006. He is now a General, and has stolen the systems controlling the dual Goldeneye satellite weapons. Bond must survive against the mysterious Janus, whom the ...
...Bond, and just look at Goldeneye as a film regardless of anythign else, I would still be impressed. Brosnan's Bond is equipped with flashier gadgets and cars, and the music is slightly changed, with Bond composer John Barry turning down the opportunity to proovide the music throughout the film, and leaving it to Eric Sierra, whose take on the Bond music is refreshing. Tina Turner provides the vocals for the title track, which was written by Bono ... Read review
