Spider, The Trilogy... Light-hearted fun

Advantages: Kid friendly, easy top watch, likable hero
Disadvantages: 20 minutes of the third film are BAD. Not very scary.

This series is less dark than many of the other comic book movies. The sort of thing you don't even hesitate to let your kids watch. My 8 year old sister loves these movies. The first film shows the making of spiderman, with the Green Goblin as his main enemy. It follows the comic books pretty closely and Kirsten Dunst is a lovely MJ. The final installment of the famous Mummy Trilogy.

Advantages: Good story and acting performances, gorgeous picture quality, plethora of special features
Disadvantages: None

I'm going to admit from the off that I despised the first two Mummy films. I can't put my finger on why; possibly the setting, storyline or poor acting?
