Advantages: A great start to a new era in the Bond Franchise

Advantages: Daniel Craig excels in this darker take on Bond
Disadvantages: Standard Bond villains and lack of gadgetry

Comparison can be drawn with the return to the Dark Knight's roots in Batman Begins. Similarly the tone shifts to a darker, more gritty world.
