No Challenge for Sharpe
Advantages: Superbly shot, great casting Disadvantages: none really!
I have to admit, i was absolutely gutted when this came out. I'd just spent a small fortune on the boxset.
On the other hand, I was chuffed to bits, sharpe was back!
It'd been a long time since Sean Bean had donned that uniform, and it shows - though it fits in perfectly with the storyline.
The storyline is loosely based on the book "Sharpes Fortress" - the last of the Sharpe in India series. In Challenge, Sharpe returns to India as a retired ... ...gets himself involved with the Incompetent Simmerson (the most hated of sharpes enemies!) and ends up posing as a redcoat deserter, to rescue the ailing generals daughter and save the day - though things go terribly wrong when a captured sargeant gives Sharpe and Harper away - and as always with Sharpe, death, mass explosions and screaming charges ensue!
Despite the fact that over a decade had passed between waterloo and challenge, Sean Bean and ...

King George commands and we obey
Advantages: Everything - plot, characters, acting, literally everything Disadvantages: Nothing...if I'm pushed I could possibly say that they are long for single episodes.
...is the first chronological film, Sharpe's Rifles is not the first chronological novel, which would be Sharpe's Tiger when he starts as a private, but the events described in that book are placed much later in the TV show.

Both Sharpe's Rifles and Sharpe's Eagle are set in 1809, and with both of these two episodes the book and the episode are very similar, with only slight differences. The knowledge of the period is not however only limited to the battles and events, but a very in depth knowledge of how the army in that period worked, and how the weapons were used, including the difference between rifles and muskets which I had never ...

Regimental Siege
Advantages: Swashbuckling, fun, great value Disadvantages: a bit low budget looking in bits, rubbish extra on dvd
...War (during the Napoleonic War). Sharpe's regiment is hard pressed for men and due to some unknown corruption in the South Essex's 2nd Battalion no reinforcments are available and the South Essex is to be disbanded!
The South Essex, like nearly all regiments of the time is divided into 2 battalions, the 1st Battalion goes abroad to fight, while the 2nd battalion stays at home, recruits new men, and trains for battle. Sharpe's 2nd Battalion, under ... ...series you should watch! And Sharpe's Regiment is great, the hour and a half you spend watching will just woosh by. ****SHARPE'S SIEGE****

Crank 2: High Voltage was released this year and contains Jason Statham again. Chelio’s tears through the town in search for the Chinese criminal who has possession of his heart. Amy Smart, Dwight Yoakham, and Efren Ramirez revisit their roles from the original film. ***OVERALL OPINION***

2012 true or wrong
Advantages: I believe in god so I do not believe the end of 2012. Disadvantages: 2012 film is entertainment. so make it fun for our minds
...if you buy the hype, 2012 is going to be the year of that will see the end of humanity, much like the earlier 2000s saw the downfall of TRL. The year of shock. Horror. Awe. Awe-some! I am currently much anticipating the apocalypse, especially if it involves John Cusack and will finally foresee that sinful state, California, falling into the Pacific Ocean, where it belongs, obviously. I am anticipating it as much as I did Y2K, with my gallons of water ... ...the claims of December 21, 2012 (in addition to it being my future wedding date), being the end of this current "cycle" we're upon. The Mayans were a very intelligent civilization for their time--they were able to calculate the time of day, and their mathematical accomplishments floored any Europeans' of the time. But there's a lot of controversy as to what December 21, 2012, signifies to them. Of course it's the end of their calendar cycle, but ...
