...down to watch as much Rocky as we could. And surprise, surprise i remembered that i really enjoyed them the first time around and have now got through all 5. HISTORY --------------- Rocky was the creation of relatively unknown actor Sylvester Stallone, He based the character on Chuck Wepner who fought Muhammad Ali in 1975 and managed 15 rounds. He did actually manage to knock Ali down. And only lost in the last 15 seconds. Wepner did sue stallone ...
...into super stardom. The original Rocky film was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won 3 of them including best picture. Stallone directed all but 2 of the 5 films which surprised me!
