Chuckles1987
Advantages: Great performences, Superb story
Disadvantages: Mix of accents, some of original story lost
...loved it and now own the DVD. My copy cost £7 from HMV; it is also available from Play and Amazon for around £6.
The front of the DVD case looks like the photograph shown. The back has a short description of the plot and some credits. This film was produced in 1975, and this DVD version released in 2007. Plot
The film is a made-for-TV movie adaption of the novel of the same name by Alexandre Dumas and is set in the Napoleonic era and stars ... ...to become a Captain in the Navy and is set to marry his true love, Mercedes (played by Kate Nelligan).

...DVD contains 3 episodes of Final Fantasy Unlimited, episodes 20, 21 and 22. This DVD is the second last DVD in the Final Fantasy Unlimited series. This DVD follows on with the same plot as we follow twins Ai and Yu on there journey through Wonderland in search of there parents. Episode 20 - Yu : Whilst still lost in the Ocean puzzle they come across a floating base protected by a defense system. Their ship is marooned on a guard post and the crew try to figure out how to get off it. Suddenly Chobi the Chocobo goes a bit grazy and drags Yu off out of the ship onto the base, where Yu meets a few unexpected people. I won't give away what happens though, you'll have to see it.

Take a trip down memory lane
Review of Journey To The Centre Of The Earth DVD by
dreamscancometrue
Advantages: super family entertainment
Disadvantages: nothing really wrong
Journey to the centre of the Earth, is yet another classic oldie, based on a novel by Jules Verne.
The effects are certainly not to the standards of today's technology, but for a film made in the late 1950's they still stand, their own ground.
The film itself, Professor Oliver Lindenbrook, (James Mason) a scientist hoping to find the World's core. Leads a mixed group of people with, the assistance of an Icelandic caver, down through an Islands ... ...City of Atlantis,
The journey is not only fraught with danger, but there is also a scheming plot by another explore who steals, there map, and tries to sabotage their trip.
The end to the film is superbly done, and it is worth watching the film just for this,
Other Stars are the Singing Pat Boone, the gorgeous Arhlene Dahl, and not forgetting Gertrude (The Goose).
A good winters evening Family entertaining film, a few songs thrown in for good ...

Right on Target
Review of Ultimate Force - Series 2 (Wide Screen) by
MI9to5
Advantages: Great characters
Disadvantages: -
...seeing the first series of Ultimate Force I eagerly awaited the release of Series 2 and I have to say that it didn't fail to deliver.
Like the first series, this series is again based around 'red troop' a troop of SAS soldiers. In terms of characters very few changes have been made Alex Leonard who left at the end of the first series is replaced by the cocky and loud-mouthed Louis Hoffman (who is first seen in Series 1 Episode 3) and BOX, whose ... ...Akhurst), who provides a love interest for Red Troop's charismatic Staff Sergeant Henno Garvie (Ross Kemp).
This series is more explosive than the last on many levels with more bullets flying and more people falling especially in the opening episode where Red Troop find themselves in a blue on blue situation on a ship docked in Southampton and have to come to terms with the fact that it isn't only those on the other side that are falling. Other ...
