My Precious ( lord of the rings trilogy)

Advantages: best dvd collection you can own,
Disadvantages: need plenty of time to see the film

...that this film "LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY " have been reviewed many times. But I would still like to share my experience with this brilliant film by Peter Jackson. Everything about this film is perfect! I would suggest you to sit tight and don't let anyone disturb you while watching it, you will definitely miss something important if you did. The extended version of the Fellowship of the Ring is brilliant.

Advantages: Not overly romatic and american
Disadvantages: Does not include enough of the book

In my opinion watching the extended version is well worth the extra money and time it takes. For any Tolkein lover this set of dvd's or the full box set is an amazing present. Unluckily the adventures in the old forest and the house of Tom Bombadil is not in this version. The film is considerably longer than the original fellowship dvd, so if you were dissapointed with what had been left out when you watched it in the cinema's, which the above proviso ...
