The second in the Pirates series certainly delivers on special effects and action, however it doesn't quite meet the standards of the original film. Depp returns as Captain Jack, however this time he must escape the cluthces of Davey Jones Locker and his ship of the dammed. A pact he made earlier in his life means his soul is the property of Davey Jones, and when he tries his best to evade his fate William Turner (Bloom) and Elizabeth (Knightly) ...
...and the return of many familiar faces from the orignal make this a great romp. Yet the pace and list of main characters can make the plot confusing and a little too grand to fit in the time limit on offer. what a combination, National treasure is so dire I find it difficult to imagine how these 2 could be paired up together other than a Disney smash cash tie in. take my advice, buy POTC on its own! National treasure - Nicolas 'Francis ford coppola got me the job' cage stars in this duck as a treasure hunter following in his father/grandfathers/great-grandfathers footsteps. Tales of Masonic/knights templar treasure send him from the arctic to new York ...

In my opinion by far the best movie of 2005. Not only starring two great HollyWood stars, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, but also directed by the great film director Doug Liman. This film is great action mixed with a little bit of humour, and both Brad and Angelina play their roles beautifully.
