Tom Kreffer
Review of Batman (Movie Box Set) by kreff1110

Advantages: Tim Burton's films
Disadvantages: nipples....................

...good package, all the old Batman films in one chunky box set that should have the fans foaming at the mouth. It has both Tim Burtons darker take on the Dark knight as well as Shumacher’s take on the Bat. As far as the films go, the first two are very good films. Burton, as with all his films adds his blend of darkness mixed with high-octane action very well. Batman Forever and Batman Returns are very different from the first two. They decided to ...
...As far as the DVD's are concerned there's not a lot as well. The special features are lacking plus you don’t get the best Batman of all, Batman Begins. If you’re a hard-core fan then get the double disk individual versions, they both look better but contain more features. ... Read review

Advantages: Great plot, actors, special dvd features and made by walt disney.
Disadvantages: Still quite expensive price.

Pirates Of The Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest DVD This movie is a great family action/adventure film whitch was released in july 2006. This movie was made by walt disney productions in america and is a great family film to watch. Staring lead parts inc Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley three of the best actors around. aaaarg me hearties & aarhhhh heartless
Review of National Treasure / Pirates Of The Caribbean - The Curse Of The Black Pearl DVD by earlofaldgate

Advantages: awash with bucklers being swashed
Disadvantages: treasure that should remain buried

what a combination, National treasure is so dire I find it difficult to imagine how these 2 could be paired up together other than a Disney smash cash tie in. take my advice, buy POTC on its own! National treasure - Nicolas 'Francis ford coppola got me the job' cage stars in this duck as a treasure hunter following in his father/grandfathers/great-grandfathers footsteps. Tales of Masonic/knights templar treasure send him from the arctic to new York ...
...just get POTC and ditch national treasure as that should be left buried in my opinion. 2 discs, no extras, £15 on Amazon new, £11 used I had to give it poorer ratings due to the inclusion of National treasure.the effects in POTC were pretty good but stunts/action/excitement were pretty thin on the ground with national treasure not sure if this is allowed but i met a 'pirate' in Sydney in april this year who was the spitting image of Depp, here's ... Disaster of Troy
Review of Troy (Two Discs) (DVD) by Darko3B

Advantages: great film, brilliant special effects, sound acting
Disadvantages: feature split over 2 discs!, dodgy accents

...already had plans of bringing Troy under his rule and quickly seizes the opportunity to unite a force to conquer Troy. Yet with the legendary swordsman Prince Hector in the Trojan ranks Agamemnon must attempt to gain the sword of Achilles in order to win the battle. Yet, reluctant to fight again for someone he despises, Achilles is finally persuaded by the King of Ithaca Odysseus (Sean Bean) to fight for glory and immortality. So beginning the siege ...
...as more of a historical epic than a mythical fantasy; note the absence of Gods sat around a table playing chess. The film poses the question of who the real heroes are and for who the audience should side with. At first the answer is easy, with Hector's pride and honour being much more likeable than the greedy land-grabbing Agamemnon. Yet with the introduction of Achilles on the side of the Greeks the audience may have a bit of a puzzler on their ... Read review
