#1 in best movies I have ever seen
Review of The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring (Extended Version) by RedTape

Advantages: More scenes with Legolas!!!! :D etc...
Disadvantages: Nothing

I've watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy so many times I know some of the lines by heart. It is officially one of the best movies I have seen made so far for this part of the 21st century. How could I not have this DVD?! ;) People keep complaining about how long the extended version is, but I assure you its excellence completely makes up for the time. The effects are great, the acting is great, the script is great, the storyline is great, the ...
...I hear of Lord of the Rings; but I was so awed by this wonderful movie(not just Legolas ;) ) and I decided to do my research and watch it again and again. Each time I watch it, there's something there that I haven't noticed before, and it never ever gets boring. The movie is basically on the story of Bilbo handing down the ring to Frodo his nephew who realises he must destroy the ring in the fiery pit of mordor at the council of Elrond Half Elf ... Don't tell the elf!
Review of The Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers (Special Extended Edition) by pmcds

Advantages: Great stuff all round
Disadvantages: Very long. Elijah Wood very slightly over the top

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the second in the Middle-Earth trilogy directed by Peter Jackson. There will be a spoiler in this review for any who have not already seen the film or read the book. The Plot The plot of the film follows immediately on from the first film. With the Fellowship split up, the story takes on three parts. Frodo and Sam continue their quest to destroy the One Ring in the fires of Mordor, aided by the untrustworthy ...

Best Bond since 1969!
Review of The Living Daylights (Ultimate Edition) by arthurpringle

Advantages: Beautiful locales, exciting action, Timothy Dalton's confident debut
Disadvantages: Slightly complicated plot

...A View To a Kill the producers of the world's most enduring franchise had not only to find a new James Bond but also freshen up their slightly tired series. 33 year-old Pierce Brosnan was eventually hired and after Michael G Wilson's proposed origin idea was rejected by Albert R Broccoli, a taut more grounded film was planned with Fleming's short story giving the film both its title and opening sequences. At the last minute Brosnan's Bond dream was ...
...had spoken to Broccoli about the James Bond mantle several times before but now he was finally free and Broccoli needed him desperately. The Living Daylights opens with a well directed pre-credit sequence set on Gibraltar. A military exercise between the '00' section and the SAS is gatecrashed by an enemy Agent. He kills three men before Bond pursues him in an exciting runaway Jeep set-piece. Timothy Dalton does a lot of his own stuntwork and proves ... Read review

Golden, Golden, Golden Bond
Review of James Bond Ultimate Golden Triple Pack - Goldfinger/The Man With The Golden Gun/Goldeneye (Box Set) by dodgeinator

Advantages: 3 Great Films
Disadvantages: Rather expensive RRP on them in comparsion

Golden, Golden, Golden. Undoubtedly 3 of the best Bonds. First of all theres Goldfinger featuring evil arch villain (you guessed it) Goldfinger, has a strange obsession of murdering people by covering them in solid gold paint. Will Goldfinger succeed in his attempt to rob Fort Knox, surely not, but hey, it's Bond... anything can happen. The Second Golden film, this time, is the Man With the Golden Gun. Here new Bond Roger Moore, takes on new villain ...
...uses a Golden Gun. So when Bond receives a bullet with his name on from him, things start to get a bit heated. Will Scaramanga succeed in assassinating Bond, or will he be made to bite the "bullet". The third Golden Bond is Golden Eye, this sees yet another new Bond, Pierce Brosnan, star in his debut film. Things look bad for Bond when his best friend 006 appears to be assassinated. After a massive electromagnetic pulse, is set off, Bind goes in ... Read review

The vibrating sound of revenge...
Review of Kill Bill - Vol. 1 / Kill Bill - Vol. 2 DVD by octavio.teixeira

Advantages: Uma Thurman's performance, an epic movie.
Disadvantages: As usual, from Tarantino, none!

Master Quentin couldn’t get out more surprised from that meeting with Miramax’s “Big Boss” Harvey Weinstein, where he found out that after all his new masterpiece will not only be one movie but actually two… Not that the idea had never crossed his mind before and one hour after receiving Weinstein’s suggestion, Tarantino knew exactly were to split the movie. “Kill Bill” is a movie you will want to watch in one go, so just prepare yourself and find ...
...(the movies actually only add up to 4h07m but you may need to stop for natural reasons like cold beer in the fridge…). Why watch it in one go? When I first watched volume one of “Kill Bill” I was simply in a state of elated bliss, (now you only have to multiply that by two…). But all that excitement wasn’t only because of the cinematography, the games with the camera, the fighting scenes, or the delicious references to the pop culture that intersect ... Read review
