The Fellowship of the Ring: Extended Edition
Review of The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring (Extended Version) by danfellowes

Advantages: Great cinematics, special effects, acting, location, extras
Disadvantages: none

■The Book■ The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is the first in the trilogy of films by director Peter Jackson taken from the 1930-40s novels by J.R.R.Tolkien. The books were published between 1937 and 1949. The Fellowship of the Ring was released in 1937. The story loosely follows on from an earlier work by Tolkien, 'The Hobbit'. This is a tale of Bilbo Baggins, a hobbit, going on an adventure across Middle Earth and finding ...
...just the Shire. Well now Bilbo has grown old, gracefully it may be said, and due to his adventure is outcasted a little by his fellow Shire-folk. Well 'The Fellowship of the Ring' is the turn of Frodo Baggins, Bilbo's nephew who lives with him in Bag End. The story of the books is that Bilbo while on his travels around Middle Earth with the wise wizard Gandalf the Grey, he picked up a strange artifact: A ring. A ring he managed to win in a game ... Review of The Man From UNCLE (Box Set) by Timbo3107

Advantages: First time on DVD... ever!
Disadvantages: Thrush is bad choice of name for an evil organisation !!!!

...welcome to my review of The Man from Uncle Box set. Other than James Bond, in the 1960’s when the spy craze was at its peak there was a TV series that was a cross between James Bond and Mission Impossible with a little bit of tongue in cheek, it was called The Man From Uncle. And seeing as I seem to be going through the beginnings of a mid-life crisis and talking about all things nostalgic, now would be the time to bring this review on line about ...
...story of an organisation in the same feel as the Hitchcock film ‘North by North West’. Fleming placed some ideas on the table, looking back it was relatively the same structure as Bond, a suave and sophisticated lead character whose names was Napoleon Solo, a Chief of Department based at what can only be described as Headquarters and a secretary whose name was going to be April Dancer. The name was later used in the spin off series The Girl from ... Read review

There's Nothing Like A Rush Hour
Review of Rush Hour / Rush Hour 2 (Box Set) by moneymad1

Advantages: One and two together- awesome. Amazing Comedy that will make your sides split
Disadvantages: NONE that I could find!

...far as to say that Rush Hour along with Rush Hour 2 is my alltime favourites. Once you watch the first part you can't wait to see the follow-up, so owning this box-set is defnitely the way to go. The first film left me in stitches and as soon as I watched it I couldn't wait to see it again. I immediately went on to watch the second part the same night. You can't go wrong with this box set. Jackie Chan is a massive movie star and is a great martial ...
...have you wanting more. Rush Hour: Rush Hour is about two cops, Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and LAPD James Carter (Chris Tucker) each coming from different backgrounds. Inspector Lee is a Hong-Kong cop who flies to the U.S.A. to rescue a little girl named Soo Yung. Soo Yung has been kidnapped and is the daughter of a high class consul named Han (Tzi Ma). Han is also a great friend of Inspector Lee so this is classed as a top case. LAPD Chris Tucker ... Read review
