...been to see the latest Indiana Jones film this morning and thought I would share my opinion on it. I have always been a fan of the Indiana Jones films and wondered whether this could live up to my expectations as after all it has been quite some time since the last instalment we had! Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle is yet another example of a movie that has had a lot of good advertising but can prove a disappointment for some once you've watched it. In fact, I can list it as one of the worst big budget action movies I have ever watched. Why? First of all the acting was not impressive, especially coming from an all star cast, which included actors such as Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Bernie ...
...goes to waste. There is also the fact that the angels are not required to do much acting, mostly posing and looking pretty. Another thing that absolutely killed me when watching this was the lack of really good special effects as I had hoped it would at least have if nothing else. Two great actors with a whole lot of sex apeal in the same movie. Both live secret lives therefore causing a rift in their relationship. What they don't realize is that their secret lives are very similar. They both agree to take marriage counselling to improve their relationship bringing in some comedy into the film. Once they discover they're both living secret lives they assume that they're trying to kill each other and a war within the marriage ...
...to kill her husband they finally have make-up sex and discover that people are out to get them. So they work as a team and kill a whole lot of people at the end of the film. Once again, after all the drama they attend marriage counselling again bringing the film to a humorous and happy ending.
