Advantages: tense,exciting well acted cop thriller
Disadvantages: might be too violent for some viewers

Great trilogy

Advantages: The original ideas for 'The Departed'
Disadvantages: Infernal Affairs 2 and 3 are subtitled and not english dubbed if that annoys you

You may have seen this before without even knowing it. This film was recently remade into the blockbuster 'The Departed' with Di Caprio, Damon etc. All the ideas for that came from this. Not as brainless as punch drunk as you'd think

Advantages: Inspring action and sharp dialogue in places
Disadvantages: Shouldve skipped from IV to VI in my opinion

The Rocky films are surprisingly a sharp set of stories which are not the '80s action movie hero with boxing gloves on' that you'd expect.
