...a huge one for any Mission: Impossible fan. Personally I think it was too far. It ends in the now famous helicopter going through the Euro Tunnel scene. At the time this was made, it was cutting edge special effects. Of course, we all know the TGV doesn't stop in London. Well you’d think this movie would have had everything….. A great cast, a good story line and by the sound of things there would have been plenty on action and special effects. Sadly all is not meant to be. The film is about a group of Islamic militants carrying a nerve gas that could wipe out everyone in Washington who Kidnap a plane and demand $50 million ransom. In comes Steven Segal with his crack team of commandos to save the day. ...
...this militant group. They have to bored the plane undetected in mid flight and keep them selves hidden or the militants would blow up the plane. This has everything you would expect from a movie produced by Joel Silver (of Batman fame): Loud, Glossy, fast and Steven Segal manages to disappear before the film ever gets going. ...so amazing, unliek the 2nd dragonheart and you can see straigth away that the dragon isnt real but "Draco" actually looks so real, its unbelievable, well done to them for getting it so life like. I love how Bowen and Draco bond in the end part of the film, even though they have their differences they become true friends helping each other along the way, its definatly not what you see everyday, a dragon and a knight getting along haha The bond is ...
...needed and if you've watched this you'll know what im saying and if you havnt then you'll have to watch it then wont you..?!! It suitable for everyone really, not really for young kids as they wont understand it very well but my 5year old brother loved it but cried because of the ending, aww :) Its a good family film that most people will enjoy, i didnt think id like it with all the fighting and old stuff but i love it. The opening scenes, with the police chase and the lorry loads of toxic chemicals, the movie gets straight to the point, with the simplicity of how certain events can cause so much disaster. ...reach there goal, watching how the rich, the poor, the young and the old join forces and become one, watching as the group deal with one life threatening problem only to stumble across another. The story line was well written, if a little slow in parts as the audience is introduced briefly to the tunnel dwelling characters. Disadvantages: ... but fails, mainly through poor editing and production style.

...I'm Chain Reaction starts off with an intriguing premise and goes downhill from there, despite trying really hard to be a tense techno-thriller. In The initial idea, of a new power-source being developed from water (we're not talking traditional hydro-power here though) - which supposedly has the capacity to use the hydrogen in small glass of water to power the whole city of Chicago for weeks -is brilliant. ...it's not bad. Chain There's a brain behind this film (somewhat a rarity for this genre), but unfortunately it's been rather lost in the translation. It's almost as though someone said, "Hey, here's a brilliant idea for a film, let's turn it into a mediocre movie" - and lo! - it became so.
