I have watched League of Extraordinary Gentlemen many times and have never tired of the intriguing characters and each of their 'special' traights. Or indeed the special effects; especially those of ' The Nautilus', makes me wish I could see it first hand for myself. If, like me, you grew up reading Marvel comics then watching Daredevil will be like re-newing an old friendship. It reminds me of the stories I once read and is also an enjoyable film. ... OK, I dug out my DVD of this for a more in depth review. Conner is born in 1518, He "dies" in 1536, his 1st meeting with The Kurgan. During the battle Kurgan had ample time to cut off Conners head but he waited. Mind you, if he hadn't it would have been a real short movie. I'm a bit annoyed that Conner doesn't get read Miranda when the cops arrest him outside Maddison Square Gardens. I spotted that Kurgan's sword is constructed of several segments, ...
...easily. It later goes on to cut through thick metal poles with no problem - Nice Goof! Conner meets Ramirez in 1541, I still don't get why neither tried to kill the other if "There can be only one"? Ramirez says he was born 2437 years ago. His sword was made in 593 BC. this is a great boxed set with three powerful movies which will have you on the edge of your seat well if im telling the truth i have only just bought this and havnt yet seen elektra.but the other two are awesome and i have heard elektra is good.ive seen daredevil about 10 times and lxg about 8.lxg is full of super heroes and is full of action from the start where as daredevil is about a blind kid who adapts himself to the city using his hidden strenghths ...
