Jack Ryan vs Harrison Ford
Review of The Jack Ryan Collection (Box Set) by samd4samh

Advantages: All Jack Ryan stories are together and in order
Disadvantages: Jack Ryan played by different actors

...Soviet nuclear sub heading for the US. The Government think he is going to attack but Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) thinks he wants to defect. Jack has a couple of hours to prove his theory before the US Government find the 'Red October' and blow it up. Sean Connery is brilliant as usual but I found The Hunt for Red October very slow to start with, although it got exciting towards the end. *Patriot Games* Patriot Games had me hooked from start to finish. ...
...then a race to stop the terrorist whose brother he killed from killing his family. Non-stop action and suspense. *Clear and Present Danger* Clear and Present Danger had me hooked from start to finish (although slightly complicated storyline). Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) is appointed acting CIA Deputy Director of Intelligence aqnd heads off to Colombia to investigate the murder of one of the President's friends. This film is full of action and cover ... Read review

Out For Dead Presidents
Review of Dead Presidents (Wide Screen) by BZ2886

Advantages: Great soundtrack, fascinating story, well acted,
Disadvantages: Brutally realistic at times,

It stars Larenz Tate (Menace II Society), Chris Tucker (Rush Hour) and Freddy Rodriguez (Planet Terror/Six Feet Under.) ...primarily set in New York. Dead President's contrasts these two settings to make a statement on the impact of war upon people and addresses alot of the issues faced by the soldiers when they try to reassimilate themselves back into everyday society. The Plot (A few spoilers, pretty detailed, but nothing too big I promise) The film begins quite light-heartedly with three friends casually joking around together efore their impending graduation. ... Bus pass Bond
Review of A View To A Kill (Ultimate Edition) by Timbo3107

Advantages: Original sequences involving a Horse race.
Disadvantages: Morre is too old to be believable as 007.

The title of A View to a Kill is taken from Ian Fleming's short story called From a View to a Kill. Published in April 1960 as part of a collection of short stories in the novel For Your Eyes Only, the story tells of Bond going undercover to investigate the murder of a dispatch rider in France. This was Roger Moore's seventh and final outing as 007, at the time Moore was 58 and had been in the role of Bond for twelve years so the believability factor ...
...sequence begins with Bond recovering a microchip from the dead body of 003 in Siberia. The chip is the key to the whole plot of the film and from this Bond begins to uncover a web of intrigue and a plan for world domination that has disastrous consequences for the west coast of America. The plot has absolutely nothing to do with the novel at all; in fact the only similarities to the novel are the location of part of the story which begins in France. ... Read review
