Advantages: Good No Swearing
Disadvantages: a Bit Boring

The A-Team. I first got into this when I was about 7 but then we got rid of sky and I couldn't watch it anymore. But then when I got a paper round and had a cash flow I bought season 1. Spider, The Trilogy... Light-hearted fun

Advantages: Kid friendly, easy top watch, likable hero
Disadvantages: 20 minutes of the third film are BAD. Not very scary.

This series is less dark than many of the other comic book movies. The sort of thing you don't even hesitate to let your kids watch. My 8 year old sister loves these movies. The first film shows the making of spiderman, with the Green Goblin as his main enemy. It follows the comic books pretty closely and Kirsten Dunst is a lovely MJ. Maguire is good as spiderman because he's not got the cool factor, which suits the character. The biggest difference ...

Advantages: great eighties entertainment, action and thrills
Disadvantages: not for everyone, especially those who rely on CGIs
