Shep is forced to face his past while paralleling the potentially catastrophic downfall of Kyle's career.

Birdie (played by tupac) is Shep's brother and belives that shep should not of given up on his dream of becoming a pro basketball player, Birdie is also angry at his brother for running away from all his problems and not being there through the hard times and when his mother died. at the same time, Shep blames himself for his friend's death and regrets that he couldn't have made better decisions.
A student who excels in basketball waits to hear about a possible scholarship. In the meantime he befriends a former star player who is now a security guard and his gangland brother.

DVD Description
Ambitious high school senior Kyle-Lee (Duane Martin) has a lot going on in his life. Not only is he anxiously waiting to hear from Georgetown about his college basketball scholarship, he's also dealing with the demands of a strict coach who doesn't want him hanging in the 'hood. Then there's his mother's new relationship with a security guard, which Kyle doesn't appreciate. To top it all off, his good friend Birdie (Tupac Shakur) a neighbourhood gangster--wants to know why Kyle won't hang out anymore. Hopefully, things will work out for the troubled teen, but only if he keeps his eyes on the basketball prize.
