...karan johars debut movie is a breath of fresh air for hindi cinema.The movie boasts terrific lead performances with kajol especially outstanding.The music score is very hummable and songs are picturerised very well.The story is very sweet and engages at the heartstrings with its emotions.The only slight weakness is that at times it is a bit too sweet but overall a great debut film.
shah rukh khan has once again delivered an excellent performance bring sublety and great nuances to his role as the widowed husband,.Rani mukherjee is a standout in her short role conveying a deep sensuality but it is kajol who steals the film with her tomboyish look and sizzling spark.The child actors in the film also provide nice perforamnces and the overall look and feel of film is classy...
