1974!
Their work will remain timeless as is the way with innocent and genuinely funny comedy.
The Killer.
The film is set in the hotel, 'Lost Caverns'. Lou Costello is Freddie Phillips who is probably the worlds worst bell hop. Losing cases, trapping peoples fingers in the lift doors and finding dead bodies in the cupboard are among the many mistakes he is apart of.
Bud Abbott plays the hotel security detective who is forever getting Lou to do his dirty work for him.
Now there is a dead body on the premises and the police are involved. there are a few suspects including the 'Swami' (Boris Karloff) who decides to frame Lou as so sets about hypnotising him into confessing to the murder but then there is another killing and everybody starts to panic.
Enough of the plot, This is a super film. Bud and Lou are in the 'zone ...

up to Costello and the Wolfmans girlfriend to find and free Abbott.
And then the moon rises and all hell is let loose as Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman are running free whilst Abbott and Costello are just running for their lives.
~Opinions~
Probably their best film ever, shot at the height of their popularity.
This film is a cracker, they jokes and puns come thick and fast.
Bela Lugosi is his usual menacing self, Lon Chaney Jr is more scruffy mongrel than Wolfman and Glenn Strange is a not very scary Frankenstein.
Abbott and Costello are absolutely fantastic; they make the movie a special and hilarious romp.
This is a great movie even if a bit old.
You will not be disappointed.
